Zaahen Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths

You are one of the strongest early game champions in the game. Make sure you use this to your advantage to gain a major lead.

He has a lot of all-in potential with his Aureate RushE, Dreaded ReturnW and The Darkin GlaiveQ. By using good wave manipulation, you can easily get a lot of kills in lane.

Once ahead, you can constantly harass, bully and kill your lane opponent. Don’t be afraid to play aggressively, especially if you have a lot of Passive stacks.

Weaknesses

You will struggle to close the gap between champions who have disengage tools and range.

While you’re strong without your Passive and your stacks, you get a lot of additional stats to help you in fights when you have max stacks. A good enemy will keep an eye on how many stacks you have and avoid fighting you when you have them.

You might not always get the revive from your Passive and come back to life.

Game plan
Early game
0 - 15 min
Zaahen is Strong

Zaahen is an early game champion, so your goal is to get an early kill or two and snowball from there. Play aggressively throughout the early game.

Keep stacking your Passive, and always keep an eye on how many stacks you have. Your Passive slowly drains over time, so make sure you’re using abilities/ auto-attacking to maintain stacks.

Keep the minion wave even or slightly closer to your side of the map early on. This will allow you to run the enemy down while protecting yourself from ganks.

Mid game
15 - 25 min
Zaahen is Strong

During the mid-game, focus on split pushing and applying pressure around the map. Focus on getting objectives like towers to give yourself and your team a lead.

Use your strong duelling potential in the mid-game to fight and duel anyone who tries to stop you from split pushing.

Although you’re a really strong split pusher in the mid-game, be prepared to group with your team and fight 5v5. You should usually start grouping when there are no nearby objectives to take.

Late game
25+ min
Zaahen is Average

In the late game, try to flank your opponents in the team fight. This will amke it easier for you to get onto the backline and stick to them.

Be prepared to delay team fights or skirmishes until both your Ultimate is up and you have a lot of stacks on your Passive. This will make team fighting easier.

Look for picks in the late game on immobile champions who are walking around the map to ward. Picking off the enemy ADC or Support could be the main reason you can take an objective.

Power Spikes
Early game0 - 15 min

You are strong at level 1 with your The Darkin GlaiveQ. Make sure you’re playing aggressively to get an early lead.

At level 6, you gain additional stats and an Ultimate that is great in those 1v1 fights. Don’t be afraid to fight post 6.

When you have completed your first item, your duelling power intensifies.

Mid game15 - 25 min

Zaheen will max his The Darkin GlaiveQ first, meaning he will max this ability at level 9. His all-in and kill pressure intensifies at this stage of the game.

At level 11, he will put a 2nd point in his Ultimate, further increasing his all-in pressure.

However, at level 13 is when he is at one of the strongest parts of the game as he will not only have 2 points in his Ultimate, but also 2 fully maxed-out abilities. He is a major threat at this stage of the game.

Late game25+ min

Your strength in the late game really depends on multiple factors, including how far ahead or behind you are and what enemies you’re playing against. If the enemy has lots of disengage then you are not as strong as you were in the mid-game as teams are usually grouping which makes it hard for you to pick someone off.

At level 16, you’ll put the third and final point in your Ultimate. Your Ultimate will be at max usefulness at this stage of the game.

As teams will usually be grouping at this stage of the game, you might not be very strong. However, you can make yourself strong by split pushing and duelling anyone who tries to counter your split push.
