Udyr has really good objective control. Make sure you get every Dragon whenever possible to increase your chances of winning.
To make ganking easier, run behind the enemy while activating your E at the last possible second. This bonus movement speed and stun may run out if you use it too early which will allow the enemy to escape.
Udyr can 1v1 most enemy champions. If the enemy has a weak early clear, look to gain an early lead and put the enemy behind.

For runes, you should pick Conqueror as your keystone, followed by Triumph, Legend: Haste and Last Stand in the primary tree, as well as Magical Footwear and Approach Velocity in the secondary tree.
