Laning Against Shen
Look out for an aggressive level 1 play. They can easily try and take you down if you overstep.
Try your hardest to poke and harass the enemy, but don’t over commit to it as they can turn around an exchange easily.
The enemies level 6 isn’t very strong in 2v2 fights as their Ultimate R is a utility tool.. With this in mind, use your level 6 advantage to play aggressive and take them down.
Strategy VS Shen
Take care as Shen has good ambush potential in the mid-game thanks to his E. Do not go to ward or walk in unwarded parts of the map if you know Shen has been nearby as it may result in your death.
If Shen uses his Ultimate R and leaves his ADC alone in lane, try to kill them as he will be unable to protect them if he is elsewhere on the map. However, you could cancel his Ultimate R if you think he will be able to turn the exchange around.
Try and poke and harass Shen down before a team fight starts. If he is low, he will find it very difficult for him to peel and protect his carries.
Shen Power Spikes
Shen gains global map pressure at level 6 as his Ultimate R can be used to help any of his allies. With this in mind, ping once he hits level 6.
Shen is actually strong at level 2 if he can get a good engage off with his E. He can be strong at level 1 if he starts E too.
He is really good in the mid-game as his kit is very versatile and can be used to either start fights, bait enemies and save his allies. He will also be stronger as the game goes along as he will get tankier and tankier.
