Rengar Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths

He is the public enemy number one for any squishy carry in the game. He can practically one-shot them with one or two items and can tilt someone hard enough to win the game easily.

His duelling power early on is really strong, especially if he is top lane and has access to the lane brushes. He can initiate a snowball this way, which can easily allow him to win games.

Has good split pushing potential in the mid-game, and good assassination potential on squishy isolated targets.

Weaknesses

If Rengar falls behind in the early game, it will be really hard for him to get back into the game.

His Battle RoarW is his major defensive tool. In team fights, if he uses it at the wrong time, he will get CC’d, and locked down by the enemy.

Will struggle getting picks when teams group as 5.

Game plan
Early game
0 - 15 min
Rengar is Average

Use the lane brushes to your advantage and make sure that you keep all-in'ing the enemy laner frequently. This will let you be a menace and will allow you to dish out a lot of damage.

Getting your Ultimate Thrill of the HuntR will be a massive spike. You can now roam around and get kills in different lanes to get yourself ahead.

Your ability to duel and blow up enemies is unparalleled. If possible, consider lane ganking bot lane after recalling. Only do this once the top lane wave has been crashed into the tower.

Mid game
15 - 25 min
Rengar is Strong

During this phase of the game, you should rely on picking off enemies with your abilities. Work with your allies to achieve this and make team fights unfair for the enemy.

Remember to use your Ultimate Thrill of the HuntR during neutral objective fights. You don't have to go indirectly, but your presence will surely effectively ward off enemies.

Your Passive empowered Battle RoarW will help you a lot when trying to all-in enemies and escaping unscathed. Just make sure you have enough stacks ready to use when the time comes.

Late game
25+ min

After going in with your Ultimate Thrill of the HuntR, be prepared to fall back and peel for your allies in late-game team fights.

Look for picks in the later stages of the game. If you can pick someone off, you should rotate to the Baron or Elder Dragon.

Keep a constant eye on which primary objective is spawning next. Do not split push or go on the opposite side of the map when a significant objective is up or about to spawn, and work with your Jungler to set vision around that side.

Power Spikes
Early game0 - 15 min

The first item component will allow him to deal a lot of damage and be really obnoxious in the lane. It will also be beneficial when trying to go for all-in combos.

Level six is a decent spike for him as he can now burst enemies down easily and roam around the map. His survivability will also depend on his Passive usage.

He is a powerful and annoying champion early on, especially if he manages to use the lane brushes to his advantage in the lane. His all-in combo will be pretty potent if he catches her enemies off-guard.

Mid game15 - 25 min

Another point in his Ultimate Thrill of the HuntR will increase his pick potential. He can easily lane gank the enemy laners and accumulate leads.

He will now have multiple items at his disposal. This means that his damage will increase significantly, and he should have an easy time blowing up enemies.

Rengar's presence during mid-game fights is really fabulous. He should be able to win multiple fights and zone off enemies by using his Ultimate Thrill of the HuntR correctly.

Late game25+ min

Rengar will start falling off as the game goes on, so he will have to accumulate a lead early on. He should rely on picks to win the game.

He will have many items during this phase of the game, which will let him dish out a lot of damage if he manages to catch an enemy.

Level 16 is a massive power spike, which means that he can completely decimate enemies who are singled out. He will need to frequently find flanks on the enemy to ensure that he can take over the game and win quickly.
