Can initiate tower dives early on and try to get kills once his laner pushes the wave in. His Q and W allows him to drop tower aggro and take reduced tower damage respectively.
Is a scaling monster, and if he manages to get his items and hit the mid-to-late game, he will be almost unstoppable. For a squishy champion, he can one-man the Baron if he is ahead.
His Ultimate R can completely shift the tide of a fight if he is left unchecked. This allows him to use his Q frequently, which allows him to avoid CC. Combined with his Wuju Style, he deals a lot of damage.
Has to powerfarm early game and hence has no impact unless the enemy overextends or overstays. He will mainly focus on cleaning up during the early game.
His W can easily be interrupted by any form of hard CC. This can make tower dives risky and can get him killed almost instantly if he doesn’t use the ability properly.
Can’t do much if the enemy team just disengages when his Ultimate R is active. Very susceptible to CC, so if the enemy saves their CC for him, he will die.

Your goal in the early game is to gain as much gold and XP as quickly as you can. Focus on farming rather than ganking or fighting.
Look to secure objectives as often as possible. This will give your team an advantage as the game goes along.
Your Ultimate R is an incredibly strong tool. Whenever it is up, try to use it to help your allies and get kills.

Continue to pick up and secure jungle camps whenever possible. Not falling behind in the mid-game is crucial as a Jungler, so make sure you continue to farm!
When no team fights are occurring, go to a side lane and push. It’s important that you continue to farm during the mid-game so you can get your items as quickly as possible. The more gold Master Yi has, the stronger he will be.
If your team gets a kill or two, make the call for Baron or the Dragon. You should be able to take them with ease as Master Yi.

Look to take down the enemy carries. Focus the backline and try to take them out of the fight. Focus them with your other frontline champions.
As you’re the Jungler, you need to make sure you’re always alive in the late game. If you die before a major objective spawns, the enemy will be able to take it.
Make sure you are always on the side of the map that the next major objective is on. If the Baron is up, always stay on the top side. If you go bot and show yourself, the enemy will take the objective for free.
His early game objective control is phenomenal, especially if his laners have lane priority. He needs to avoid showing up on the map early on, though.
Level six is a significant spike for Master Yi as he can now gank and clean up fights reliably. His Q usage will determine if all-ins are successful or not.
The first item is a good spike for Master Yi as it gives him increased damage. It will help him with clean-ups, and his Jungle clears.
2 points in his Ultimate R will make him more potent during fights. He will have to flank enemies and ensure that all the CC from the enemy teams' side is used up.
His first ability will be maxed out at level 9, allowing him to deal hefty amounts of damage in a very brief period.
He is pretty decent during team fights. He can completely decimate the enemy team if he manages to get a Q reset off with his Ultimate R activated.
A fully maxed out Ultimate R will allow Master Yi to mow down the enemy team. This is highly beneficial when it comes to cleaning up late-game fights.
His damage will be massive during the late game. He can keep on all-in'ing enemies as his Ultimate R will be up quite frequently.
His team fighting is on another level during this phase of the game. This means that he will be the pivot for his team's success, and his Q usage will determine the game's outcome.
