Maokai General information
Maokai tips and tricks
Before engaging with your

When roaming around the map, place Saplings
E in nearby bushes to scout for vision. You can also place Saplings
E in the bot lane
Maokai’s Ultimate
R is great in team fights. Once you engage with your Ultimate
R, fall back and protect your ADC and peel for them.

For runes, you should pick Aftershock as your keystone, followed by Font of Life, Bone Plating and Unflinching in the primary tree, as well as Biscuit Delivery and Cosmic Insight in the secondary tree. For rune shards, you want Adaptive Force in offense, Health Scaling in flex and Health Scaling in defense, though it depends on the matchup. Finally, for your items, you should build Solstice Sleigh as your first item, followed by Boots of Swiftness and Trailblazer. For your last 3 items, you should build Locket of the Iron Solari, Redemption and finish with Vigilant Wardstone. For the skill order, you want to stick with Q - W - E. Right now, this build has 53.9% winrate over 3 568 matches played.
