Ivern Matchups Overview
Ivern General information
Ivern tips and tricks
As soon as your icon spawns on the map, make sure you take your camp immediately to reduce the chances of it being stolen.
Keep an eye on the minimap at all times so you can use your Redemption from afar and save your allies.
Ivern can steal buffs from the enemy Jungler at level 1 by using his W and Smite. Before minions spawn, getting an early ward in the enemies jungle to spot where they’ve started will make stealing their second buff much easier.

The Best Ivern Builds, Runes and Items for Jungle in Emerald +
Most Popular
If you want to use the most popular Ivern Jungle build, you should take Flash and Smite as your Summoner Spells. For runes, you should pick Summon Aery as your keystone, followed by Nimbus Cloak, Transcendence and Waterwalking in the primary tree, as well as Cash Back and Cosmic Insight in the secondary tree. For rune shards, you want Ability Haste in offense, Move Speed in flex and Health Scaling in defense, though it depends on the matchup. Finally, for your items, you should build Redemption as your first item, followed by Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Moonstone Renewer. For your last 3 items, you should build Dawncore, Staff of Flowing Water and finish with Shurelya's Battlesong. For the skill order, you want to stick with E - Q - W. Right now, this build has 48.9% winrate over 1 380 matches played.

For items in this build, you want to complete Malignance as your first item, then finish Ionian Boots of Lucidity as your second item, and Liandry's Torment as third item. The last 3 options are Rylai's Crystal Scepter, Bloodletter's Curse and Morellonomicon. The ability order for this build is E - Q - W. Situational Ivern Runes and Items
Depending on the context of your game, your matchup, and enemy champions, you might want to consider building some situational items or take specific runes. Carefully examine your team, enemy team, game state , and your matchup to plan your Ivern build accordingly! For example, when it comes to rune shards, you might want to take either Armor or Magic Resist, depending on which champion you are about to lane against.
