Ezreal Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths

Ezreal’s Arcane ShiftE is very versatile and can allow him to go for aggressive plays or escape sticky situations. He is a very safe Support.

His Ultimate Trueshot BarrageR is on a short cooldown and can be used frequently when trading with the enemy. It is also global which allows him to snipe people across the map.

Ezreal has consistent poke damage with his Essence FluxW and Mystic ShotQ which can allow him to push the enemy laners out of the lane abruptly. This can also allow him to all-in enemies once they are low enough after taking the barrage of poke Ezreal has to offer.

Weaknesses

Very squishy and immobile when his Arcane ShiftE is down. If you waste your Arcane ShiftE, the enemy has time to go in.

Buffering your Arcane ShiftE can be extremely difficult against certain champions. It will often leave beginners in a sticky situation.

He is mechanically a very difficult champion. While he’s easy to pick up, he is hard to master.

Game plan
Early game
0 - 15 min
Ezreal is Average

Just keep poking the opposition with your Mystic ShotQ and auto-attacks. Save your Arcane ShiftE for situations where you need to avoid getting CC'd.

Use the lane brushes as much as you can to make sure that you can land your poke on the enemy team. This will allow you to accumulate a lead and shove the enemy out of the lane.

During neutral objective fights, your main goal is to make sure that you can poke the enemy team out before the major Smite fight. This way they won't be able to do anything and will die if they try to all-in.

Mid game
15 - 25 min
Ezreal is Strong

Work with your Jungler and see if you can secure some picks around the map. Getting a kill is good but you can also try to force the enemy to recall.

You're extremely fragile and will probably die if you get caught out, hence make sure that you use your Arcane ShiftE with discretion.

Your Ultimate Trueshot BarrageR will be on an extremely short cooldown now so use it as much as you want to help your teammates out.

Late game
25+ min
Ezreal is Average

Poke the enemy and harass them as much as you can before looking to fight. Bursting someone down with a few Mystic ShotQ’s and your Ultimate Trueshot BarrageR will allow you to force a team fight with the numbers or health advantage.

Avoid using your Arcane ShiftE aggressively in late-game fights as you’ll be vulnerable briefly. Only use it aggressively if you’re 100% sure you cannot get abused for it.

Stick with your team and avoid walking too far away from them. If you get caught out, your team will lose out on a lot of damage in a team fight, and it would be your fault. Stick with your team as much as possible.

Power Spikes
Early game0 - 15 min

Darius can start ganking as soon as he hits level 3. He needs all of his basic abilities before he can start to gank.

His best early game power spike is when he hits level 6. His Ultimate heavily increases his 1v1 and skirmishing power and he will be a huge threat at this time.

After he has completed his first component item, Darius’ trading and kill pressure further increases. He can 1v1 most enemy Junglers at this time.

Mid game15 - 25 min

At level 9, Darius would’ve maxed out his . His all-in potential and kill pressure is still very good during the mid-game.

At level 11, Darius will put a secondary point in his Ultimate . If he gained a slight lead in the early game, he will be tough to handle in the mid-game, and he should be able to kill any enemy who tries to prevent him from split pushing.

During the mid-game, Darius should’ve completed a couple of items. He should be able to deal a lot of damage to targets, and also be somewhat tanky. The items he picks up makes him a huge problem during this stage of the game.

Late game25+ min

At level 16, Ezreal will put the third point in his Ultimate Trueshot BarrageR. He will deal a lot of burst damage to anyone who is hit with it in the late game.

When Ezreal is coming to completing his build, he will have incredibly low cooldowns on all of his abilities. This is good for him as he will be able to continue to poke and harass the enemy before a team fight occurs. Also, his Arcane ShiftE will be on a short cooldown which allows him to escape skirmishes easily.

Ezreal is great in the mid-game, but he does start to fall of in the late game as it will be harder for him to kill tanks.
