How to Fish: How to Unlock Weapon Camos

Weapon camos allow you to change the appearance of your guns, fishing rods and other equipment in How to Fish. They cannot be purchased from regular shops or unlocked by upgrading your weapons. Instead, you must catch rare Drip creatures and use them at one of the Reel of Fortune machines found across the islands.

The camo you receive is random and purely cosmetic, so it will not improve the weapon’s damage or provide any other gameplay bonuses.

Every normal creature has a chance to appear as a rare Drip variant, which can be identified by its unusual appearance and rainbow coloured name. There is no special Drip lure, so continue fishing from the normal creature pool until one appears.

Insert the Drip creature into the machine to receive a random skin for a weapon or piece of equipment. Each Drip creature provides one spin, while the skin and its rarity are entirely random.

Receiving a Legendary skin also unlocks the GOLD GOLD GOLD achievement.

Equip the weapon or item that received the skin, then use Z or C, depending on your keyboard layout, to cycle through its available appearances. Skins are purely cosmetic and do not improve the weapon’s stats.
