Vein Abundance Event Guide - Aniimo Season 1 Part 2

Aniimo is a free-to-play, open-world RPG where players can explore the vast world of Idyll, meet unique Aniimos, unlock new abilities, and travel across the world while meeting other Pathfinders and their friends! It just got the brand new 1.1 update, bringing with it a whole new host of changes! More importantl, are the events you can take advantage of. They allow for increased loot rewards, and of course Aniimo for your party. In this guide we'll be breaking down the Vein Abundance event, and going over some important tips you'll want to know when taking part.

The main premise of this event is a weekly rotating selection of Aniimo that can be more easily hunted down in a specific zone in their respective map. It affects both the base story maps such as Breezy Plains, and also the seasonal maps like Whisperwake Isle.

However the largest, and most defining features are:

• A seasonal limited Prismana Aniimo, that for the duration of the rotation will appear for capture
• A Wild Surge, in which a concentrated area of the map will repeatedly summon an infinite supply of one specific Aniimo
• A boost in prismatic energy (50%) generated from nurturing Prismana Blooms

Each phase runs within a specific date/time frame. If you're ever curious what's coming next, you can click on the "Event Preview" button in the bottom left corner of the screen to get a look at the schedule. In the screenshot below, you can see that the currently available Prismana form is Pouchwisp

Be wary, though. As any Prismana forms are typically limited, meaning once the period to grab them passes, you won't get it again! This approach may not be popular with players against FOMO, but sadly is just how the event works.

Before trying to take part in a Wild Surge for yourself, the first and most important thing to keep in mind is that the surge will only be available every Friday - Sunday

During this time, you'll get a location marked on your map, in which the currently active Aniimo for the surge can be pursued. Once found, simply pull out your pods and start catching. Remember that this is an infinite source of Aniimo, so spending your higher tier pods isn't recommended.

On the subject of pods: while it might seem appealing to use a Tumbler Pod for faster captures, the price you spend on them far outweighs the amount of credits you'll actually be generating when farming the surge.

Furthermore, surges are a great method not only for farming exp on your equipped party, but also for finding Umbral Aniimo, a rare variant that can be incredibly difficult to get your hands on outside of this event.

One common misconception some players have with the Vein Abundance event is that it only works for the base story map. This isn't entirely true, though.

While the seasonal limited Prismana is consistent (for example, it's currently Pouchwisp), the Aniimo you can catch via the Wild Surge will swap depending on the map you select.

An example of this is pictured below. Despite the current surge Aniimo being Fahloo, the option displayed for Whisperwake is actually Coinwisp. This means that depending on the current active season and rotation, you'll have a variety of choices to make each week.
