This variant is designed to get you started towards getting to T4 Content straight from Levelling.

You ideally have an Orsivane andAxial Conduit by this point which makes the build functional and boosts the build damage dramatically.

Everything else is Optional but very nice to have.

Chain Lightning is taken for free casts after spending 100 Mana.

Second Enchantment

Charged Bolts is taken to Auto-Cast more instances of itself on Stunning an enemy and reduces enemy damage via Destructive Charged Bolts.

Bonus Enchantments

You gain the following bonus enchantments for every Defensive Skill not on the Skill Bar due to having the Orsivane equipped:

Frost Nova Auto-Casts on Lucky Hit after Hitting Enemies.
Flame Shield Auto-Activates if you take more than 30% Life in one hit. (30 Second Cooldown)
Teleport replaces Evade with a 5 Second Cooldown that can't be reduced.

We take Subo as our Primary for the Map Hack and Critical Strike Damage from Opening Fire.

Aldkin (Secondary)

We take Aldkin as our Secondary for the 40% Slow Movement and 20% Damage Reduction on affected enemies.

How it Plays

The main focus here is to set yourself up so that you can spam Chain Lightning as much as possible whilst in combat.

All the other skills are here to Support Chain Lightning and help maintain Resource and provide Defensive Measures.

The following steps are the recommended Build Rotation for skill usage:

Cast Ice Armor to Generate Barrier before combat.
Cast Unstable Currents to generate extra Shock Skills and make Crackling Energy Pulse for Free.
Cast Ice Blades for Vulnerable Application and additional Attack Speed.
Cast Lightning Spear to Stack Conjurations and Stun Enemies on Critical Strike.
Cast Familiar to gain the increased Damage Bonus from Invoked Familiar.
Cast Chain Lightning liberally around all other skills.

This Lightning Sorcerer Levelling Build focuses on optimising the damage from Chain Lightning whilst staying tanky enough to easily get to Level 60.

It does this through the following:

Huge Damage via Orsivane.
Free Enchantments for each Defensive Skill not equipped via Orsivane.
Big Damage and Resource Generation via Axial Conduit.
Big Damage, Crackling Energy Generation and Pull In via Galvanic Azurite.
Spamming Chain Lightning to destroy Enemies across the screen.
Spawning Conjurations to support you in combat.
Big Damage and Cooldown Reduction from the Overflowing Energy Key Passive.
Big Damage via the Passives Glass Cannon, Inner Flames and Permafrost.
Defensive Measures via Mana Shield.
Resource Management from Passives, Aspects and Equipment.
Maxing Attack Speed through Aspects and Equipment.
Cooldown Reduction via Passives and Equipment.
Barrier for extreme defence.

Extra Details

This build should reach Pit 100 in Season 12 with Decent Equipment, Max Glyphs and Decent Blooded Affixes but it will likely struggle to scale much past this.

With the correct gear this build this will easily beat all the Hardest Content In The Game without issue.
