The Rank 1 Abattoir of Zir Build (AceofSpades Druid)

Abattoir of Zir is a limited-time endgame activity introduced in the middle of Season 2, where players have 10 minutes to kill a certain number of enemies to summon and then kill a boss, a mechanic very similar in design to Greater Rifts for Diablo 3.

Due to its functions, it can be utilized in a competitive setting on who can go the furthest and clear the fastest. Recently, our Druid build expert, AceOfSpades, has managed to separate himself from the squadron of Barbarians plaguing the Leaderboard and carve out not only Rank 1 Druid but Rank 1 class on the AoZ leaderboard.

AceOfSpades accomplished this feat with his Shred – The Big Dipper build, and it’s quite a unique build as far as builds go, as it maximizes its damage output by making use of a technique known as “double dipping”, essentially stacking stats that affect two different mechanics. Poison applications and your blurred beast Aspect are what these stats affect, giving them both a massive damage boost.

What makes this slot on the Leaderboard particularly unique is that most runs below 5 minutes were done in a party of 3 to 4 players, Ace has managed a Solo AoZ time of 3 minutes, beating the 2nd place Solo player Galanor#11663 (Orion) by nearly 2 minutes.

Even the quickest 4-player AoZ run was done in 4:12:00, which Ace is also a part of, quite an impressive time.

The divide between the classes is definitely quite apparent when looking at the leaderboard with the only class managing to somewhat compete being a Sorcerer player in 7th place known as Arcueid#41586 with a time of 6:17:00 and the next being a Rogue player named 小耕耕是科学怪人#3800 with a time of 9:52:00 placing 35th on the leaderboard.
