This Blood Lance build focuses on optimising the Attack Speed, Critical Damage and Overpower Damage across the build whilst staying tanky enough to beat all end game content. Check the How It Works Section below for further details.

If you've hit Level 60 check out the ENDGAME GUIDE which will take you to T4 and beyond.

I'l be live streaming (GMT) so this is a good time to come ask me questions directly!

How it Plays

The main focus here is to make sure your Resource Management, Attack Speed and Movement Speed are all sufficiently decent so that you aren't being slowed down by any one of them. This is essentially a 2/3 button build at this stage depending on how you want to play it.

The following steps are the recommended rotation for skill usage:

  • Cast Soul Rift to start Stacking Damage, Gain Resource and apply Vulnerable to enemies.
  • Cast Blood Lance freely.

Repeat each step as necessary

How it Works

Build Overview

This Blood Lance build focuses on optimising the Attack Speed, Critical Damage and Overpower Damage across the build whilst staying tanky enough to beat all end game content. It does this through the following:

  • Stacking Overpower Activations.
  • Stacking Resource Generation.
  • Scaling Overpower Damage.
  • Capping Attack Speed in both Attack Speed Bucket 1 and Attack Speed Bucket 2.
  • Permanent Uptime of Soul Rift.
  • Damage Multipliers across the build.

Check out the In-Depth Explanations below for further details on the build.

Extra Details

This build went to Pit 95+ during Season 9.

The following parts of the build have been buff for season 10:

  • Base Blood Lance Damage
  • Enhanced Blood Lance reduced from 6 Casts to 5 Casts to overpower.
  • Mutiplator Plate is now a Chaos Armour.
  • Hungry Blood Aspect.
  • Gore Quill Aspect.

The following parts of the build have been nerfed for season 10:

  • Blood Seekers Aspect.

With the correct gear this build should easily beat all the hardest content in the game. It isn't going to be the greatest Pit Pusher because of the lack of Damage Scalers late on but it can push more than high enough to beat all the content in the game happily enough.

Levelling Tips

There are a few methods you can use to level depending on how fast you want to level and what mechanics you want to interact with but all of them will get you from Level 1 - 60 in a matter of Hours. Below are the levelling strategies you can use in order of Fastest to Slowest:

Helltides + Strongholds

If you don't fancy the Nightmare Dungeon Grind or replaying the VoH Campaign then you can simply go and run Helltides until Level 46/47 handing in any Whispers along the way. Once you hit Level 46/47 you can again run Strongholds to get you most of the way to Level 60 if not all of the way there.

VoH Campaign + Strongholds

This has typically been a very fast way to level by completing the Vessel of Hatred Campaign, getting to around Level 46/47 and then completing the Strongholds to get you most of the way to Level 60 if not all of the way there.

Nightmare Dungeons

This is highly anticipated in Season 9 to be the fastest strategy to use for levelling due to the new Nightmare Dungeon Sigils that comes with the Experience Mote Affix. This drops Experience Motes as you go through Nightmare Dungeons that can grant upwards of 5% Experience per Mote.

Start Tips

All Levelling Strategies

Book Of The Dead

Skeletal Warriors Defenders (Level 8)

Skeletal Warriors Defenders sacrifice is taken for extra Defence through granting All Resistances.

Skeletal Mages Shadows (Level 15)

Skeletal Mages Shadows sacrifice is taken for extra Spirit Generation.

Skeletal Golems Bone (Level 25)

Skeletal Golems Bone sacrifice is taken for extra Attack Speed.

Uniques

If you happen to come across any of the following uniques whilst levelling they will greatly boost your build:

Mutiplator's Plate (Unique Chest Piece)

This is the Blood Lance specific unique which grants a lot of Damage, Damage Reduction, Fortify Generation and Blood Orb Generation. This is an all round excellent item for the build but is not you can expect to come across whilst levelling. If you do come across one you will blast all he way through Level 1 - 60 with ease.

Indiara's Memory (Unique Pants)

This pair of Unique Pants is incredible for scaling out Damage but it is not essential until much later in the builds journey. In fact whilst levelling it may be better to use an aspect for defense until you can solve that elsewhere.

Runes

If you happen to come across any of the following rune pairs whilst levelling they will greatly boost your build:

Cir + Lum

The Lum Rune grants us an additional way to Refill our Spirit everytime we cast 5 Skills with a 3 Second Cooldown afterwards. This helps immensely during the levelling process in allowing us to Hulk Smash just that little bit more.

Yax + Qua

The Yax Rune will grant us a burst of Movement Speed from Qua Rune on Potion Use which is extremely useful early on during the Levelling Process which is one of Druid's Biggest Weaknesses early on.

Chaos Powers

Invigorating Attacks (Magic Power)

This Chaos Power is another source of us generating More Spirit which allows us to use Blood Lance more often and helps us towards Capping Overabundance which as stated above it a Huge Damge Boost.

Accelerating Chaos (Magic Power)

We take Accelerating Chaos for the Cooldown Reduction it offers when the Chaos Bursts it produces Hits Enemies which will allow us to cast our *Ultimate** more often.

You can acquire the following Aspects from World Map Dungeons:

Fractured Peaks

  • Blood Seeker's Aspect -> Mercy's Reach

Dry Steppes

  • Aspect of the Umbral -> Champion's Demise

Kejistan

  • Torturous -> Deserted Underpass
