Army of the Dead is a new build coming to Season 13 Lord of Hatred thanks to the extreme buffs to the unique two-handed sword Sanguivor, Blade of Zir that took it from useless to one of the strongest Uniques in the game, offering up to a 1,000%[x] damage bonus when you consume 7 corpses.

Back that up with being extremely easy to play, the highest corpses generation in the game through theCorpse Generation Army of the Dead upgrade, and a host of powerful Aspects like Unyielding Commander's Aspect, and you've got a potential top contender for the season.

Please note, a builder updating is coming to fix the errors on Red Blessing, Dominate, and the Book of The Dead. Please check in-game for correct descriptions.

Equipment Priority

Sanguivor, Blade of Zir makes up the core of the build by stacking up Souls through consuming Corpses through Corpse Explosion to unleash insane amounts of damage.

Army of the Dead also has the Summoner tag to benefit from things like Hellbent Commander Aspect and Unyielding Commander's Aspect.

Banished Lord's Talisman and Red Blessing can be used interchangeably in the Amulet slot, but the other must be used as a Unique Charm.

Raheir is chosen for majority of the game thanks to his free Resistances/ Armor he provides, with Subo being an alternative when trying to push Pits/ Tower thanks to his minimap tracking.

Varyana is chosen as back-up for her Attack Speed bonus.

How it Works

This build utilizes the combination of Red Blessing, Banished Lord's Talisman, and the Dominate glyph to gain massive amounts of multiplicative damage from the Uniques and Additive damage from the Glyph. As a result, stacking Maximum Overpower Stacks with things like Tidal Aspect is vital to boost the builds damage.

The core to the entire playstyle is Sanguivor, Blade of Zir and the Pile the Bodies Army of the Dead upgrade together gives Army of the Dead a total increase of 1,300%[x] damage when fully stacked.
