Build Overview

The Evade Spiritborn uses Rushing Claw to Evade while you apply insane Poison DOTs to everything in sight. This is one of the fastest builds in the game, and is equally great on trash and bosses. At maximum power your poisons will hit for over 10 Trillion damage - easily destroying Torment 12.

If you love builds where resources don't matter and you constantly press forward, this is perfet for you!

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • No Resources
  • Incredibly Fast
  • Screen Wide AOE
  • Trillions of Damage
  • Spam Cooldowns
  • Doors Slow You Down

Build Variants

There is also a lightning version of Evade which is very strong, but after playing both I think the Poison outshines it. I will build out the lightning variant in the future, especially if it outperforms Poison.

Key Points

1. You want to stack as much Damage Over Time Multiplier (X) and Vulnerable Damage Multiplier (X) as possible. This build relies entirely on DOT's so Critical Hit Chance and Critical Hit Damage are irrelevant.

2. Cooldown Reduction is great for this build and can be added to any item you see it on before you're able to roll perfect affixes like in the planner.

3. Pumping up your Maximum Resolve not only gives you tremendous toughness, but damage from Colossal. Aim for Greater Affixes and Masterworks on those Tempers.

Runewords

CemQue gives us Barrier to stay alive.

BacKry casts Vortex, which gathers enemies, knocks them down, and grants us 20% damage reduction from 1000 Year Storm Vortex.

Talismans

Protean Heart doubles your Dexterity for an insane damage boost.

The main idea is the throw Pestilence Swarms to murder your foes. They spin around us thanks to Ring of Writhing Moon, and we generate more of them through Counterattack of the Swarm Counterattack.

We move around through an infinite number of evades through Rushing Claw as we maintian 4 stacks of Ferocity. This is achieved by having Ravager at level 20 with Ferocity Minimum Ravager selected. There is currently a bug with Harmony of Ebewaka where it sometimes won't count skill levels of your Second Spirit Hall when you enter a new floor. This means that when looking for bonus levels on our charms, +Gorilla Skills is better than +Eagle because it lets us side-step this bug entirely.

Armored Hide gives us resolve stacks (which are critical for Colossal), block chance, life leech and barrier. This is the defensive MVP.

Scourge gives us more poison damage, slows, fears, weakens enemies, applies vulnerable, and gives you 15% damage reduction. It also gives you tremendous damage from the 5 piece of Phoba of Balazan's Bite.

The Devourer gives us mega poison damage and triggers Aspect of Supremacy. Make sure to max out The Devourer, The planner is currently bugged and won't let me allocate 15 points into it.

Paragon Board

Mercenary

Varyana is great for this build since she'll be constantly catching up to you and grouping enemies with her Whirlwind attack. She also provides more Movement Speed from her massacre bonus.'

Raheir casts Bastion whenever you become injured helping you stay alive when disaster strikes.

How it Plays

Use Rushing Claw to Evade.

Cast Armored Hide, Counterattack, Ravager, Scourge & The Devourer on Cooldown.

You don't need Vortex on your bar because your runeword casts it for you.
