How it Plays
- Activate Cataclysm before using Tornado – this way you gain infinite Spirit.
- Use Pulverize to trigger Ursine Strength and also Debilitating Roar thanks to Wild Transformation – you’ll need to alternate this, since after leaving Bear Form, the Ursine Strength buff lasts 8 seconds.
- Apply Rabies for 50% more damage and also activate Blood Howl for 20% more Critical Strike Damage.
- Cast Tornadoes and keep repeating this in a loop.
- Activate Earthen Bulwark when multiple mobs are around to guarantee a barrier and become unstoppable.
How it Works
Alright my Druids, let’s look at the pillars of this build—or what I think are the most important things to understand when building it.
First off, this is a full Overpower damage build. That’s why the XAN rune takes center stage… to guarantee those Overpower crit hits you’re seeing on screen.
We’ll also take advantage of the Dominate glyph, the Chaos perk Brawn Over Brains, and the key passive Ursine Strength.
That’s why items like Banished Lord’s Talisman are great for this build—but we’ll go deeper into that in the gear section.
A key item we need is Gathlen’s Birthright. Thanks to this helmet, we’ll benefit from the Perfect Storm, Earthen, and Ursine Strength passives—the last one we allocate ourselves. So our damage will be massively boosted by using this helm.
We’ll also need the Mjolniac Ring to have infinite Spirit, so we won’t run into resource issues while casting Tornado. Plus, it gives us 40% more damage while Cataclysm is active.
Finally, the core aspect of this build is Stormchaser. This aspect isn’t bad at all—great for Pit clearing and farming—but it falls short when it comes to single-target damage. Still, it’s the best option we can use, so it’s mandatory to make Tornado shine.
