How It Works

Summary

For this build, we use triple axes for very high damage vs healthy targets making it perfect for one-shotting lesser enemies and even most bosses!

This is thanks to the malignant heart of the Barber which will keep enemies at "healthy" status while they absorb damage that will later explode.

Arsenal setup

You'll want to make sure you have your two-handed axe selected for Whirlwind this will be your main damage dealer and you want to be making use of the powerful two-handed axe expertise. For a lunging strike use dual wield weapons for a faster attack animation but we won't be using this too much, mostly just for mobility.

Uniques

One notable mechanic of this build is the use of temerity and the Raid leader and invigorating fury passives. Temirity allows you to convert overhealing into a temporary barrier for up to 80% of your maximum HP. Raidleader heals you for up to 9% of your total HP per second when all three of your shouts are active and Invigorating fury will heal you for 9% of your total HP for every 100 fury you spend. Combined these passive give you a ridiculous amount of passive healing which will maintain the Temirity barrier through even the toughest fights! better still you'll be able to make very good use of aspect of the conceited for a huge boost to DPS too.

If you don't have a temerity yet, use pants with four damage reduction stats prioritizing the least conditional types for example Health, Armor, Close & Fortified.

Doing Damage

This build straight-up slaps but to really get the best of it you need to be able to maintain berserking as much as possible and this is because of how aspect of berserk ripping works with the malignant heart of the barber.

In short, the explosion from your Barber procs can benefit from the berserk ripping aspect which will lead to some extremely high bleeds, possibly going into the 100s of millions of damage, it's pretty insane.

Outside of that, also be aiming to hit as many enemies as possible with your whirlwind!

Staying Alive

Luckily this build is passively very tanky, however for the more spicy fights you'll want to only stay in the fight for as long as you have challenging shout up as it provides at bare minimum 40% damage reduction. It is also important to keep spinning! not only will you heal as you spend fury but, as you damage enemies you will be proccing aspect of the relentless berserker which increases the duration of berserking which in turn gives you the passive aggressive resistance ( up to 9% damage reduction )

Hearts & tags

Heart of the Barber: Significantly increases AoE & Single Target DPS Heart of Revenge: Up to 20% damage reduction Heart of Tempting Fate: increases critical hit damage up to 80% and drawback next to non-existent thanks for Aspect of Direwhirlwind
