Overview
This build was created by Hydration. To find it in game, search for "Mobalytics - Yamato Spirit by Hydration" (BuildID: 17523)
Yamato is an assassin that can be played both Spirit based or Weapon based. This build is a hybrid between the two that focuses on having good burst damage while still being able to put out consistent damage.
Early Game
First buy
Headshot Booster to poke down the enemy laner.
Next get
Hollow Point Ward to make your weapon stronger.
Extra Health and
Enduring Spirit help you not get one shot by enemy burst damage and all ins.
Mystic Shot and
Cold Front are your main sources of damage outside of
Power Slash.
Extra Spirit and
Sprint Boots are great pickups that increase your damage and give you a nice bit of health regen.

Mid Game
After buying your early game items start saving up to 3000 souls, here you want to buy
Torment Pulse as your first T3 item.
Fill out the rest of your weapon slots with
Soul Shredder Bullets.
Next you buy
Spirit Lifesteal and
Healbane to enable you to get involved in fights that aren’t just duels.
Upgrade
Enduring Spirit into
Slowing Hex, this with
Cold Front and
Power Slash makes the enemy extremely slow while dealing a lot of burst damage.
After purchasing a lot of slows now focus on speed to guarantee being able to stick on your target.
Enduring Speed is the first pickup.
The next speed option is using your first flex slot on
Surge of Power. Imbue it on your
Power Slash.
Next you want to upgrade
Improved Reach and
Headhunter.

Late Game
Your second flex slot purchase should be
Mystic Vulnerability, this is your highest damage upgrade as a T2 item.
Next save up for
Echo Shard as you unlock your third flex slot. This can be bought before
Mystic Vulnerability if you are really rich. Use
Echo Shard after using
Power Slash.
If you are strapped for slots you can upgrade
Improved Spirit into
Boundless Spirit.
If you have too much money and another flex slot you should consider buying
Refresher.
If lacking flex slots you can sell
Hollow Point Ward or
Headshot Booster (if skipping
Headhunter) for
Shadow Weave or
Spiritual Overflow.

Situational Items
Warp Stone gives you an extra bit of mobility.
Ethereal Shift is your best answer to enemies’
Silence Glyph.
Fortitude is a good upgrade if you lack flex slots and want to stay active on the map.
Decay combined with
Healbane will make enemy healing nearly useless.
