Overview

Viscous has a powerful kit that can excel as a support and a spirit carry in the new patch, this build looks to stack spirit and utility items with a heavy focus on the ball towards the mid-game.

This build was created by Vegas. To find it in game, search for "Mobalytics Viscous by Vegas" (BuildID: 445553)

Early Game

  • Start every lane with Melee Lifesteal and rush Lifestrike. After that, buy Battle Vest for your 4.8k green spike, then rush Cultist Sacrifice.
  • Focus on poking with your punches and Splatter, and pick up Spirit Strike, Extra Charge, and Mystic Burst.
  • The new items Recharging Rush and Spirit Snatch are the best purchases to hit your gun and Spirit 4.8k spikes. At this point, you have officially spiked and should feel comfortable taking fights.

Mid Game

  • Superior Cooldown is a solid pickup for farming and overall quality of life.
  • Next, I like to buy Ballistic Enchantment. This is a new item, but it provides a crazy amount of weapon damage for its cost.
  • Hollow Point is also an insane item. I usually buy this alongside Melee Charge eventually upgrading into Crushing Fists.

Late Game

  • This is where I like to upgrade into Tankbuster and Transcendent Cooldown.
  • If you still have the gold and item slots, check out Spellbreaker or Colossus-these provide the best survivability in the late game.
  • Warp Stone is a massive power spike on Viscous. I try to buy this every game if I have the slots, as combining Warp Stone with your puddle punches and maxed ball unlocks even more combo potential.
  • You can also consider Counterspell if you like the item. I find it very useful, but it ultimately comes down to personal preference.
