Out of the 20+ items, I'm sure you're wondering what is worth your time, and what you should absolutely be avoiding if you want to speed up the construction of your endgame builds! Here is a ranking of the 5 Best new items from the expansion.

Bismuth-Tipped Dagger: Jakobs Ordnance
The first item on this list is one which I quite frankly will get more or less usage depending on the player wielding it. At 7 charged, the BPD requires quite a little setup to get the max power out of, but at full charges it will take you up to 105% extra damage with your chosen element.
The desired case for this item in my opinion is going to be tied into the intrinsic ability of Pearlescents, and their element swapping nature.
The only problem with the BPD for me personally, is that I don't want to focus too much on how much of what element I'm dealing, and to what health type. I think in that regard, you'll get different mileage out of this item.
Either way, I recommend it.

Flash Cyclone: Maliwan SMG
The easiest way to market the Cyclone to a player looking into it, is that it's basically a King's Call in the form of an SMG, just without the condition of needing to score a Critical Hit.
When you hit an enemy with this weapon, it'll create extra projectiles in the surrounding area, which will then home in on your target to help finish the job.
It's a really powerful SMG, and the only real downside I personally see with it, is sadly that it only rolls Cryo element. I will say however that I am a fan of going back to element locked items, instead of Jack-Of-All trade items that remove meaningful decision making from builds.
If you're a fan of bullet hail, and... Death? Pick this up.

Honey Badger: Energy Shield
Okaaayyy here we go! I have longed for a new survivability focused shield since the inception of the 
Onion, which in my honest opinion is the best in slot shield for tank builds in Borderlands 4.
My prayers have been answered, in what was originally a shield that at first glance seemed a little pointless to me. The goal of the Honey Badger is to prevent self damage, which at first may seem a little too niche. However, with 
Slippy still very much being a meta item, and explosive weapons in general- it's a VERY good shield.
It's so good, that it probably ranks in the top 3 shields in the game right now for me. I've chosen to run it on my current build, and don't see myself taking it off any time soon. It allows me to be real lazy with my attacks, without being punished for it.
New shield just dropped, go get one, now.

Crazed Earl: Ripper Shotgun
Remember how we just mentioned the Slippy being meta? Well, this gun asks of you to melee your target after shooting them to trigger a major chunk of damage on the enemy. The great thing about that ability, is that the Slippy can trigger it directly. Feel free to get some synergy going there with the previously mentioned Honey Badger also.
In terms of damage, this Pearl also hits EXTREMELY hard. It is easily the best out of the 3 added with this DLC, and while I don't know how much use it will get in the meta overall, I do see it being the go to farmed drop for this DLC drop.
If you like making things explode with melee, get the Crazed Earl.

Scoot'n'Shoot : Torgue Pistol
A while back, I made an article talking about how two pistols were battling it out for the position of 'BEST' Pistol in the game. Well, a new challenger has entered the arena, and if I'm being honest... We may need to crown is as the rightful winner of that title.
The ideal roll you're looking for on this gun is Jakobs/Ripper/Stickies - but due to how rare that roll is, just finding one with Ripper/Stickies will do just fine for all around use.
The SnS is SO good as a matter of fact, that you can slap it on almost any build, and make it your daily driver. The most optimal use is to get it infinite ammo via your skill tree (Which everyone has access too) - but even if you can't, you'll still find that it's insanely strong.
Don't argue with me, just go and get this gun ASAP.
