How to Unlock the Legendary Stop Gap Sniper Rifle

Stop Gap is a Legendary Sniper Rifle that can come in a variety of elemental types. Its unique Reconfigure effect causes it to drastically reduce its rate of fire in exchange for a huge Damage boost.

The longer you continue firing, the slower and stronger it gets, until you eventually reach a Fire Rate of 20% with a Damage increase of 750%. An interesting design that certainly packs a punch.

Unlock Location:

• Discover the Dissected Plateau sub-region of the Fadefields.
• Use the Zadra's Backup Plan (Fast Travel Station), available after the first few Story Missions.
• Right nearby is an Abandoned Auger Mine known as The Claim.

Farm Method:

• Defeat The Backhive, the boss of The Claim.
• Utilize the Encore Machine to farm The Backhive until Stop Gap drops.
