5 S-tier Supports in Patch 13.22
The Support meta has been similar for some time. As always, engage Supports are good, but so are utility Supports! You can pick a variety of champions in Patch 13.22 to increase your chances of winning games and climbing in Patch 13.22!
In this article by Mobalytics, we will discuss 5 S-Tier champions in League of Legends. These S-Tier Supports are strong, and you’ll have a higher chance of winning games if you pick any of these Supports this patch.
If you want to learn more tips on how to play as any of these champions, head over to the Mobalytics’ Champion Page.
There are some other strong S-tier picks this patch. You can find more S-tier picks on the Mobalytics Tier List for Patch 13.22. Please note the data we are using is mid-patch data, all servers and all ranks.
Blitzcrank
The first champion on our list is, once again, is Blitzcrank. Blitzcrank is a really good Support who has a lot of play making potential. One good hook on the enemy ADC or Support will force them to either blow Flash or get a grey screen.
The great thing about Blitzcrank is that he is good even when he is behind. You just need to land hooks, and then you will be really useful in team fights. Just make sure you hook the enemy carry and not pull the enemy tank in to your team or you’ll lose the team fight.
Blitzcrank’s win rate on Patch 13.22 was 51% in 1,225,000 games.
Rakan
The second champion on our list Rakan and if you’re in to pro play or watch a lot of League, you may have seen him being played a lot.
Rakan is a very good champion with a lot of play making potential with his W and Ultimate. He can also get in and out of fights with his E. The only problem with mastering Rakan is that he is quite hard, and he is squishy. So you will get blown up a lot when learning how to play him.
In Patch 13.22, Rakan achieved a win rate of 51.2% in 1,380,000 games.
Thresh
The next champion is Thresh and if you’ve read some of our previous articles, you would’ve seen how strong Thresh has been lately!
Thresh is a really good pick for any Support player, thanks to his ability to get picks and make plays throughout the game. In the early game, one good hook can result in you winning the lane. In team fights, landing a hook on a key target can win you the fight. I would highly recommend you pick Thresh up this patch if you haven’t already.
On Patch 13.22, Thresh had a 50.7% win rate in 1,750,000 games.
Soraka
Soraka is a bit of a weird one as she doesn’t really carry like some of the other champions on our list, but don’t let that discourage you from picking her!
She has good poke in lane with her Q, and a lot of sustain with her W too. She can keep poking players down with her Q, and keep herself alive with the sustain, and her ADC alive with her W. All-in-all, Soraka is a great choice if you like stylish champions that are also annoying.
Soraka’s win rate on Patch 13.22 was 51.6% in 755,000 games.
Zyra
Zyra is one of my favourite champions in League of Legends and after her recent buffs, she has become even stronger (even though they were not aimed at her).
If you like poke champions then I would recommend you pick Zyra as she is quite fun and pretty simple to play. She doesn’t have many skill shots compared to Xerath, but she can carry just as hard as him. Thanks to her plants, she has a lot of AOE damage, and damage over time, which makes her a strong laner to play against.
And finally, Zyra’s win rate on Patch 13.22 was 52.5% in 840,000 games.
And Finally
That sums up our guide on the best Supports you should play this patch. If you’re struggling to climb this patch, why not give some of them ago? Let us know how it goes below!
