MSI Play-In Stage: Meet the Teams

MSI is one of the most anticipated international events in League of Legends, where 12 teams battle against one another to be crowned victorious. This yearly event is being held in China right now, and we expect to see a huge turnout by fans locally and globally alike.

When Does MSI Start?

Before we meet the teams, we need to know when the event actually starts! The 2024 MSI tournament starts on May 1st, with 3 different stages.

  • The play-in stage lasts from May 1st through to May 5th.
  • The bracket stage is from Tuesday the 7th until Saturday the 18th of May.
  • The Finals will be held on Sunday, the 19th of May.

Previous Winners

With every event, there have to be winners and losers, but each time goes down in the history of the event. The first tournament was in 2015, and this will be the 9th time the event has been held. It has been held every year since 2015, apart from 2020, when it was cancelled.
