Kripp's C.O.R.A Dooley Build

C.O.R.A is a solid build-around item that combines Poison stacking with fast-scaling Weapon Damage. Generally speaking, there isn't clear pathway to putting it together, meaning it primarily exists as an opportune pivot. A Kinetic Cannon Build or Weaponized Core Build is likely the closest option early on.

However, with that said, there are still a handful of decent items you can look out for. These are great flexible slot-ins early on, and some of them can contribute towards your final build in the late game.

Core Synergies

• C.O.R.A is best placed second from the left to allow most of your items to spam its Poison effect.
• • BLU-B33TL3 or BLK-SP1D3R can take the leftmost position to capitalize on the adjacent Poison triggers (and also help Charge C.O.R.A).
• Gamma Ray is the most reliable form of Poison scaling for C.O.R.A, and is the only other item with adjacent placement priority.
• • RED-F1R3FLY + Toxic Flame can be a great Poison scaling alternative if Gamma Ray is unavailable.
  • Keylogger functions as a passable alternative in the meantime.
• The Core and Launcher Core are both solid additions due to their efficient Charge speeds.
• • If playing The Core, focus on the fastest Small items available. Beta Ray is a nice addition for Freeze utility while comboing with Gamma Ray.
  • As for Launcher Core, utilize fast Mediums items like Monitor Lizard. Having a lower quantity of items makes it easier to Fly the whole board.

Tips & Tricks

• Poison scaling is extremely important. If you lack the key items and/or skills, you'll likely have to pivot to something else.
• Upgrades also matter a lot to help lower Cooldowns and gain additional targets. BLU-B33TL3 and BLK-SP1D3R are rather weak at Silver-tier.
• Prioritize Dooley skills to hopefully find Machine Learning. This lets you save targeted upgrades for other important items.

Core Synergies

• Dooltron Mainframe can be a reliable way to accelerate C.O.R.A if you're playing enough fast Friends.
• • On the flip side, Buddy System is a fantastic source of CDR with just a single Friend like BLU-B33TL3.
• Nitro is a simple but solid inclusion thanks to low Cooldown plus Charge support.
• Cool LEDs spams super fast when playing two Cores, and also adds some useful Slow utility.

Situational Variants

• 3D Printer can potentially enable some wacky spammy setups, such as 4x Beta Rays.

Tips & Tricks

• C.O.R.A builds lack the innate defenses of many top contenders, so really try to optimize for speed and win ASAP.
• • Having a defensive enchantment could help, but only once you can reliably Charge C.O.R.A itself.
• If you're falling behind on tempo and/or missing important upgrades, be on the lookout to pivot.
• • Dooltron shares some similar components, so Kev's Armory can potentially bail you out of a bad run!
