Build Overview

Bladefall Blade Blast Spellslinger Assassin is a super fast incredibly strong all-around character that can be taken from day 1 and scaled all the way to pinnacle Ubers with ease.

This build is 1 button from start to finish with no need for piano-style gameplay.

We start off in act 1 with Blight Essence Drain Contagion setup, which we stay on through to Act 3. After killing Gravicious in the barracks in act 3 is when you unlock Bladefall and it is here we can fully transition into a Spellslinger setup.

DO NOT LEVEL YOUR Arcane Surge Support THAT IS SOCKETED INTO YOUR FROSTBLINK, IT WILL LOSE YOU TONS OF DAMAGE IF U DO.

DO NOT SWAP TO Spellslinger UNTILL YOU HAVE Eldritch Battery ALLOCATED AND AT LEAST 250 Energy Shield

This will be around level 36!

Once into a Spellslinger setup look for wands with good FLAT damage on the wand such as +#-# added Physical/Lightning/Cold/Fire damage ( phys is best ), but any line is a huge amount of damage. You can also craft on % Inc physical damage on the crafting bench for a huge damage boost.

In act 4 you will allocate Eldritch Battery. You need to have an ok pool of Energy Shield to use this keystone, so make sure you have around 150-200 AT MINIMUM on your gears total. You can allocate Essence Surge early on to help with this.

Look to swap into Mind Over Matter at level 70-75ish. You should have AT MINIMUM around 3.5k life and 1k Energy Shield before doing this. Ideally around 1400es. *THIS KEYSTONE SHOULD NEVER LEAVE YOUR CHARACTER EVER AGAIN ONCE ALLOCATED* Please do not Swap off it in the final tree without a Cloak of Defiance ( with +2 AOE Gems Corruption ) or a Skin of The Lords ( Mind Over Matter Variant .)

Recommended to Help Alira in Act 2 & Swap to +1 passive point later.

Here is where you transition to Bladefall Blade Blast Spellslinger. You will need to do a small tree respec, talk to Maramoa in the Sarn Encampment to respec for a tiny gold cost.

Consider buying a Twyzel wand as its a solid starting weapon that can take you all the way to maps.

From this point forward flat damage on your wand, ideally adds # to # physical damage + a % increased physical damage bench craft is best. Other added flat damage is okay too such as adds # to # fire/lightning/cold. But keep an eye out for physical modifiers. READ Spellslinger !

For acts keep an eye out for gear with Maximum Life and Resistances above all else, ideally on Evasion/Energy Shield Hybrid Bases.

You can craft a very strong wand by: Rare Rustic Sash, Whetstone, White Wand > Bench craft flat phys

How it Works

What Spectres to Run?

Perfect Pain Artist / Perfect Forest Warrior.

Other Options to consider Depending on Circumstance:

If you are post-Necrotic Armour ( unique chest ) and do not have another source you can get Endurance charges with a Perfect Warlord.

Perfect Forest Tiger is very expensive but nice for speed. Although I found its frenzy charge generation not reliable enough to remove mark mastery as I hoped I would be able to.

Animate Guardian Setup

Weapon: Early Either a Dying Breath or Sign of the Sin Eater + 5% life gain on block shield. Sin Eater doesn't do anything if you have your Stormshroud in, but not many good alternative 1 hander's I could see.
Late Weapon - Kingmaker.
Body: Gruthkul's Pelt
Boots: Windscream
Gloves: Rare Glove with Despair on hit and as much res as possible.
Helm: Early - Leer Cast Late - Crafted Rare Helm with -9% Chaos Res to Nearby Enemies ( Hunter Mod ) with res.
Animate Guardian's Default res is 40% for all elements and 20% for chaos. Its very important you cap his res on elemental and hopefully 1 line of chaos if possible.
