Build Overview

A Tanky and fun mapper with a extremely high survival rate! SPIN2WIN BABY!

Utilises That didn't happen! along with Max block luck from More Than Skill andSoul Taker's mana perks maximise our tank and auras while dishing out respectable damage with Cyclone of Tumult and some neat Rage Vortex of Berserking tech!

GEAR:

Here we will cover what gear we need and what rolls are important in each slot.

Before we start, ALL gear should be either evasion or armour as we use Iron Reflexes and make sure you get as much elemental and chaos resistances you need to cap them, then get life when you can.

Please note, clusters will be covered in the passive tree section below.

UNIQUE ITEMS:

We use five unique's in this build. First is Bronn's Lithe to increase our Cyclone of Tumult, The Surrender for sustain, The Stampede to negate Cyclone of Tumult movement issues and Soul Taker for its high damage and removal of the need to use mana.

LastlyCircle of Guilt (Physical Damage). Make sure you get Mana Reservation Efficiency and Increase physical damage rolls on the Circle of Guilt (Skill Reservation).

WEAPON:
Soul Taker

GLOVES:

Along with the normal life/resists rolls, we want to get a pair that have decent "Increased damage while leeching". If you can get a "Rage on attack hit" it will help a small amount with rage generation, but its not needed.

BOOTS:
The Stampede are used to negate Cyclone of Tumult movement de-buff. Anoint them with Harvester of Foes

HELMET:

This is a dump slot. So get Elemental, Chaos and Life dump.

CHEST:
Bronn's Lithe

AMULET:

We want to get "+ to level of all Physical skill gems" and loads of DEX with a little INT if possible. Some Added physical damage could not hurt. For the anointment we want Heart of the Warrior

RING:
Circle of Guilt (Skill Reservation)

And a good rare ring will be to cap off the rest of your resistances.

BELT:

Get a good Belt with a jewel slot with resists, life and Armour.

JEWEL:

Jewel for the belt MUST have "Corrupted blood cannot be inflicted on you"

LEAGUE ITEMS:
This league we have some sweet items that add to our builds!

We will be using the Impaling Uulgraft and Battering Uulgraft's to complement our build. Make sure both have "Increased global physical"

Battering Uulgraft is a MONSTER of a damage dealer! Summoning 4 giant hands to slap the crap out of any rare or unique mobs on the screen. I've had moments were these hands would just 1 shot Rare's before i even get close to them. Great for supplementing out lesser single target capability's.

Impaling Uulgraft on the other hand, add a chance to apply an additional Impale on enemies, which means more damage!

The TREE:

Unlike my other build guides, i wont be going in order of what you should grab, as this guide assumes you are at least lvl90 and can prioritise smaller nodes as needed. I will however go over the MUST have Notables, Masteries, Ascendancies and Cluster Jewels.

KEYSTONES:

Iron Reflexes is used to make sure that even if we can only get hybrid or evasion only gear, we get armour.

Resolute Technique is a must for any non-crit build

Versatile Combatant to allow us to get spell block

MASTERIES:
Each Mastery is vital, get em all!

Impale Mastery: "10% chance on Hitting an Enemy for all Impales on that Enemy to last for an additional Hit" & "Impale Damage dealt to Enemies Impaled by you ignores Enemy Physical Damage Reduction"

Axe Mastery: "Gain 2 Rage on Hit with Axes" will help with rage sustain.

Life Mastery: "15% increased maximum Life if there are no Life Modifiers on Equipped Body Armour" Our unique chest has no life so this will help allot

Block Mastery: "+2% to maximum Chance to Block Attack Damage" This and the below will help reach the block cap for spell and attack.

Shield Mastery: "+1% Chance to Block Attack Damage per 5% Chance to Block on Equipped Shield"


ACENDENCIES:

For the Gladiator tree, grab Gratuitous Violence for the oh so sweet BLEED EXPLOSIONS! ThenDetermined Survivor & More Than Skill for the sweet blocks!

NOW the cool one! That didn't happen! This bad boy allows us to take INSANE damage with the low low cost of.. no jewels.. Worth it? 100% YES! Which is also the reason we go heavy in the Cluster jewels!

CLUSTER JEWELS
Make sure to get clusters that give attributes or resistances you are lacking.

Large Cluster 1 & 2: Vicious Skewering (< ignore the cannot cause bleed) for added bleed and impale effect and Feed the Fury for more leech and damage.

Medium Cluster 1: Enduring Focus For endurance charge generation and Stoic Focus for more block.

Medium Cluster 2 & 3: Vital Focus to make dot ground effect more survivable and Unwavering Focus for stun immunity.

Medium Cluster 4: Enduring Focus for more endurance generation and Vital Focus for even more regen.

Small Cluster 1,2 & 3: Fettle for more life

Small Cluster 4: Feast of Flesh for great life sustain.

SKILLS:

Here ill go over the gems in each slot and provide a brief explanation on their use.

6LINK 1:
Cyclone of Tumult
Links: Pulverise Support > Awakened Brutality Support > Awakened Melee Physical Damage Support > Impale Support > Infused Channelling Support

This is our main attack. We basically have this up 99% of the time and zoom around spinnin and spinnin.


4LINK 1:
Cast when Damage Taken Support
Links: Lifetap Support > Vaal Molten Shell
No link: Warlords mark

Our CWDT setup. We can also manually cast Vaal Molten Shell when expecting to be hit hard.

Use warlords for some more sustain. I don't use it much but its nice to have.

4LINK 2:
Rage Vortex of Berserking
Links: Rage Support > Hextouch Support > Vulnerability

Our BUFF setup. We pop this when we want a little more damage. It gives us more attack speed and applies Vulnerability on anything in range.

4LINK 3:
Enlighten Support
Links: Pride > Herald of Purity > Flesh and Stone

Our standard physical aura setup


3LINK 1:
Frostblink & Blood Rage
Linked: Lifetap Support

Our travel skill and another buff. Try to keep Bloodrage up as much as possible. Added benifit of being great to spam in boss fights for the Lifetap Support buff to proc.

3LINK 2:
Summon Stone Golem
Links: Lifetap Support
Unlinked: Blood and Sand

Summon Stone Golem is nice lil boost to defences, however i do find he dies often in t17's
And of course Blood and Sand for increased area.
