Build Overview

So this build revolves around using Beacon of Madness (Two-Toned Boots Evasion/Energy Shield), in order to get the mod "ALL Damage inflicts poison while affected by Glorious Madness" this mod combined with elementalist, golem stacking, herald stacking, is a very strong combination, because all our damage can ignite AND poison at the same time.

But Poison damage scales of chaos damage over time multiplier, and ignite off fire damage over time multiplier, so for us to benefit from both, we convert all our ignite damage from fire, to chaos, using Blackflame, so that way we can only focus on generic damage over time multiplier and chaos damage over time multiplier.

Being an elementalist, we can stack golems, using Liege of the Primordial, so we can negate A LOT of issues, like regen, mana regen, damage over time multiplier, defenses and so on.

We are using Summon Chaos Golem for generic damage over time multiplier

Summon Stone Golem for regen

Summon Stone Golem of Hordes we use this guy to bum our golem numbers up to a max of 17

Summon Lightning Golem for some great mana regen and added lightning damage

Summon Flame Golem for generic damage increases

Shaper of Flames guarantees our ignites.

Shaper of Storms guarantees all our damage can shock, and while using Reap and Vaal Reap, they hit very hard, and we almost all the time guarantee a 40% shock on pinnacle bosses.

Bringer of Ruin increases our herald buff on us, and great reservation efficiency.

Because we are using Farewell to Flesh, and we are using basically all heralds know to man like Herald of Ash Herald of Thunder Herald of Agony Herald of Purity we get massive damage increases.

Lost Unity is a great addition tot he build, granting us Herald of the Hive skill, kind of a pseudo RF, but better, and yes, another Herald skill.

The Dark Monarch (Summoned Golems) will be the helmet of choice, doubling our golem numbers, for more damage and more QOL.

And now the interesting part begins:

Beacon of Madness (Two-Toned Boots Evasion/Energy Shield) has a downside, it gives you a skill called Embrace Madness, which inflicts you with a debuff that lasts 20 seconds be default, there are 5 total debuffs that this item can inflict, and they stack up to 10 times, which is not good at all.

So we need a way to REDUCE debuff duration on us. Here comes Stasis Prison, which has a mod that can reduce the duration of debuff duration on you by up to 100%, but that doesn't mean the defuffs will just not be applied, it will instead count down from 20 to 0 much faster, but even that is not enough, because we must hit certain breakpoints.

Glorious Madness causes you to gain a Touch debuff every 2 seconds, chosen randomly from a pool of 4. Each debuff can stack up to 10 times, lasts for 20 seconds, and refreshes the duration of existing stacks of that type when gained.

Relevant breakpoints for faster debuff expiry rate:

  • 150% (151%) -> >8s
  • 233% (235%) -> >6s
  • 400% (401%) -> >4s
  • 900% (911%) -> >2s

We are aiming for the 235% breakpoint, so we take the de buffs down from 20 sec, to 6 sec, so how do we get there?

In my current form of the build I have the following:

Stasis Prison - 90%

Temporal Rift - 89% (we stack quaility on it, mine has a total of 89% quality, 23% from base corruption, 10% from the socket color, 32% from Ashes of the Stars, 24% from Enhance Support)

Soul of Arakaali - 20%

Runegraft of the Warp - 30%

Window of Opportunity -15%

If you are trying to replicate the build, please keep in mind the 235% breakpoint when buying a Stasis Prison.

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Great clear
  • Good single target
  • Very Satisfying Pops
  • Uber DOT capped
  • Not very tanky
  • Damage over time has a DOT cap

The Dark Monarch (Summoned Golems) will be your best in slot here, to get a corruption with % to all elemental resistances or +2 AOE gems, especially if you plan on using Headhunter, since you probably will have a hard time getting res capped.

Ashes of the Stars will be the best amulet, try to get a volatile corrupted one that goes over 30% quality to gems, the higher the better, 32% would be minimum in my book.

Blackflame is build enabling, allowing to focus on a single damage over time multiplier, for our poison and ignite. Focus on getting one of the following corruptions: Cannot be poison, cannot be ignited, bleeding cannot be inflicted on you.

Lost Unity also pretty build enabling. Focus on getting one of the following corruptions: Cannot be poison, cannot be ignited, bleeding cannot be inflicted on you.

Mageblood - is my personal choice, just solves so many issues, like resistances, reduced effect of curses, stun immunity, more rarity, etc etc

Beacon of Madness (Two-Toned Boots Evasion/Energy Shield) - build enabling, basically allowing us to poison and ignite at the same time, and gives us occultist pops.

Stasis Prison - Key build item, get one with a high roll on the debuff expiry rate, and also a good roll on the damage taken recouped as life.

Warlock Gloves - Buy a fractured base with phys converted to fire, spam essences for dex, and double resistance suffixes, finish prefixes off with eldritch currency until you hit a good life roll, and then bench craft AOE and Area Damage.

Lathi - this was a nightmare to craft. The most important mods are +2 all, +4 phys, damage over time multiplier, chaos damage over time multiplier, and spell damage + non chaos as extra chaos. Bench crafted attack block.

The way I crafted this was that I bought the base with fractured damage over time mod, because that mod doesn't have any tags, meaning I can't force it on in any way shape or form.

Then I spammed harvest reforge caster until I hit the +2 mod, 50/50 anul any other prefix on the item leaving only the +2 prefix, and ensured I had 2 suffix mods, then I bench crafted "cannot roll attack mods" and augmented Phys in harvest, it will guarantee +2, +3, or +4 all physical spell skills, and it will either remove the "cannot roll attack mods" or the +2 all, or a random suffix.

Once you augmented phys, if you don't hit +4, you can settle for +3, or 50/50 anul the +3 and go gain.

Once you got your +2 and +4 (or +3 if you've settled), then you must have no other prefixes except those two, and you must have 2 suffixes, and bench craft Prefixes cannot be changed, and use a VEILED EXALT, NOT A VEILED CHAOS, A VEILED EXALT (VERY EXPENSIVE), and it will remove a suffix, and guarantee a prefix.

NOW THIS IS TRICKY. If you unveiled a mod that is NOT non chaos as extra chaos, and unveil a spell damage mod, you can either settle again, OR pick the mod that has an ATTACK TAG, if you picked teh attack tag, you can go to your bench, craft "cannot roll caster mods" and your Annuls will never remove your +2 and your +4 prefixes, removing only the mods that have attack tags.

Then go back to the previous step, have 2 suffixes, craft prefixes cannot be changed, veiled exalt again, until you hit the non chaos as extra chaos mod.

This is by far the most expensive part.

But once you're done with your prefixes, you move to the suffixes, you already got your main fracture there, but you don't want any other mods there, so you either lock prefixes and scour, and then you bench craft "prefixes cannot be changed" and YOU HAVE TO AUGMENT CHAOS, NOT REFORGE CHAOS, YOU MUST AUGMENT CHAOS.

There is only 1 suffix that has chaos tag, and it's the chaos damage over time multiplier. If you hit a lot tier, lock prefixes, anul, it's gonna be a 50/50 between the lower tier chaos damage over time and the prefixes cannot be changed, and go back to augment chaos.

Once you're done, bench craft attack block, and you're done, you've crafted a very difficult but expensive staff.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm using 4 Megalomaniacs, the main thing i want is Flexible Sentry, because this gives me 25% reduced elemental ailment duration on you, so I have 4 of these, so 100% reduced ailment duration on me, making me basically ailment immune, while giving me spell block and attack block.

Other good mods to look out for on megalomaniacs are:

Wasting Affliction

Wall of Muscle

Prismatic Heart

Eternal Suffering

Misery Everlasting

Empowered Envoy

Enduring Composure

Towering Threat

Basically anything that gives you HP, chaos damage, herald effect, AOE.

I'm also using 2 large cluster jewels, with emphasis on Primordial Bond for golem buff effect and Renewal so they stay alive longer.

Forbidden Flesh and Flame combo gives me Shaper of Storms

The Light of Meaning (Physical Damage) socketed on the left side of the tree gives me a lot of % increased physical damage.

Intuitive Leap with corrupted blood implicit socketed on the top side gives access to a bunch of usefull nodes and allowing us to save some passive points.
