[0.5] +7 Wand Crafting Guide

Hi, in this guide I will cover how to make a +7 wand in 0.5 and l also a cheaper alternative.

Base and prep

• Base: i81 Dueling Wand
• Prep: fracture +5 to all lightning skill gems. (you can do this easily by getting the +5 and 2 other modifiers, then desecrate with jawbone for a 4th mod. This gives you a 1 in 3 chance to land the fracture)
• Chaos spam for crit chance for spells. (make sure its the ONLY modifer on the wand!)

Suffix

First we will do the suffixes

1. first we need to add a prefix with Omen of Sinistral Exaltation + Exalted Orb
2. then we will use Omen of Sinistral Crystallisation + Transcendent Alloy

Now the item's suffixes are done! Congrats! From here you can decide to do either the cheap (+6 skill gem) or expensive (+7 skill gem) method.

Prefix cheap (+6 skill gem)

1. use a Preserved Jawbone to desecrate the item.
2. activate a Omen of Abyssal Echoes and unveil. You want to hit mana here. (NOT hybrid mana/spell damage). We need mana so that we can block it from rolling. This way our next 2 prefixes will have a better chance of hitting something good.
3. use Omen of Greater Exaltation with Greater/Perfect Exalt
4. remove your mana desecration with Omen of Light
5. use a Preserved Jawbone to desecrate the item.
6. Unveil final mod

Prefix (+7 skill gem)

1. add the Astrid's Creativity rune in your socket
2. add a prefix with an Exalted Orb. (If you hit mana then you will need to use a Omen of Sinistral Erasure + Chaos orb to reroll it to something else. the next Alloy we will add counts as a mana mod and cannot be added if flat mana exists on the prefix.)
3. use Omen of Sinistral Crystallisation + Celestial Alloy
4. use a Preserved Jawbone to desecrate the item.
5. activate a Omen of Abyssal Echoes and unveil. You want to hit hybrid mana/spell damage here.
6. Perfect Exalt
7. remove your mana desecration with Omen of Light
8. use a Preserved Jawbone to desecrate the item. (Consider using Ancient Jawbone if you have the budget)
9. Unveil final mod
10. repalce Astrid's Creativity socket with your rune of choice
