PoE 2: How to obtain Runeseeker's Call

What is Runeseeker's Call?

Runeseeker's Call is a special quest reward Unique Wand that can be obtained by completing a quest in the endgame.

The important part of this Unique Wand is its inherent 5 Augment Sockets with 200% increased effectiveness of the bonuses gained by any Runes socketed within. This bonus also applies to Bonded modifiers unlocked via the Shaman's Wisdom of the Maji.

Note: you can Corrupt Runeseeker's Call to obtain a 6th Augment socket amongst other Corruption outcomes.

How to obtain Runeseeker's Call

To obtain Runeseeker's Call you must either complete an endgame questline tied to the Expedition mechanic, or acquire it via trading with another player.

Questline

The quest to obtain Runeseeker's Call has a luck element involved at the beginning, as you'll need to find a rare item from an Expedition boss, Uhtred, the Stardrinker, to get started.

Along with the other drops from slaying this boss, Uhtred will also rarely drop a Depleted Mana Rune.

Note: the Depleted Mana Rune can only be acquired once per character.

Bringing this quest item to Farrow will provide you with new dialog with some hints towards solving the quest.

The next step is to charge the Depleted Mana Rune using... Mana of course! You'll need at least 10,000 total Mana to charge the Depleted Mana Rune, but note that you can make use of Overflowed Mana to reach the required amount, such as that gained from Sacrifice of Mind or Mana Remnants. This step is the second hurdle in this questline, as you'll need to equip sufficient gear and allocate the correct nodes on the Passive Skill Tree to be able to reach the required 10,000 Mana in order to progress.

Once you have reached at least 10,000 Mana, it's time to charge the Depleted Mana Rune by right-clicking it!

The final step is the easiest part! Simply take your Infused Mana Rune to Farrow who will now have even more additional dialog, eventually presenting you with Runeseeker's Call in exchange for the quest item.

Tip: Farrow can be found next to Dannig in Kingsmarch in Act 4.
