PoE 2 0.5.5 Forbidden Rites Event Release Date

Patch 0.5.5 for Path of Exile 2, Forbidden Rites, will launch on September 4th at 1PM PDT.

The Forbidden Rites release will be an event league for Path of Exile 2, providing a new economy reset opportunity, and will run alongside the normal 0.5 league on the road to full launch later this year.

Patch 0.5.5 will include major improvements to some aspects of Path of Exile 2, and some new features too!

Included in the changes are Abyssal Ravines encountered in the Atlas endgame, Runes of Aldur going core, a long list of improvements to the Trials of Chaos and a new league mechanic for the event based on Ritual.
