Build Overview

The REAL SPARTAN - Spearfield for both AoE and Single Target with some Rapid Assault on the side

Build Variants

This setup is with flat damage and might update another version soon focusing on Crit with Tangletongue.
I will also try out The Deepest Tower low-life setup which can be used on any build in the game for very juicy damage increase that I use on my main Ritualist.

Stats

Body armor - Ornate is the best for % life regen and try to corrupt for Physical Damage reduction or extra socket or armor %

Gloves - flat damage carries DPS, life, resistances, attack speed, melee skills, strength

Helm - Thrillsteel for more attack speed and movement speed is really good, otherwise life, resistances, strength, rarity

Boots - movement speed, life, resistances, stun threshold

Shield - block chance, armor, life, resistances, strength, phys damage reduction

Weapon - flat phys, phys %, flat lightning for Shock debuff, attack speed, strength, melee skills

Rings - flat damage carries DPS again, life, resistances, rarity

Amulet - life flat and %, armor %, spirit, resistances, melee skills, rarity

Belt - Infernoclasp hands down the best for this ascendancy due to Molten Symbol and Unnatural Resilience AND Forged in Flame if you want to be tankier

The goal here is to get enough Skill Effect reduction bringing down Spearfield to 1 second "Detonation" so it triggers its 300% more damage existing for 0.5 seconds and explodes often.

Thunderous Leap is not really needed so this is a flex skill. Might replace it with Solar Orb for exposure and rage/life regen for bosses.

Blood Rush first then straight for Bestial Rage and Feral Force when leveling and later on with more points respec.
Near at Hand is very important for Spearfield to explode fast enough.

Atlas Tree

Setup for Strongboxes mainly Research for currency and then Exiles which is underwhelming just like Spirits (confirmed to be buffed soon TM).

How it Plays

1. Spearfield - your main damage ability

2. Rapid Assault - can help finishing enemies off or applying Bleed which we can combine with Bloodlust support gem on 1.

3. Infernal Cry - very nice damage increase with Tireless new support gem and Vocal Empowerment

4. Temper Weapon - good damage increase for both AoE and boss fights

5. Bloodhound's Mark - super easy armor breaking with Single Out

6. Shield Charge Thunderous Leap - mobility to move faster from pack to pack

How it Works

Combine that with Near at Hand - Fast Forward and Delayed Reaction for perfect proc window.

Temper Weapon makes for very nice AoE clears with Herald of Ash
