Warbringer actually has fantastic tools to play minions!
The ancestral summon has powerful buffs for your minions, primarily rage. The totem that summons also pulses rage stacks via Font of Rage Support, and this skews the build to focus on Reavers. Reavers have the highest base DPS of all minions, and they have a hidden bonus of 6% more attack speed per 2 rage, as well as 20% more effect of rage from gem quality. This effectively allows you to triple their base DPS if you can maintain maximum rage on them -- so this is the goal.
When many monsters are around, you can help your minions by using Seismic to explode corpses repeatedly.

Skeletal Warriors should only be used if they are free from your scepter.
Skeletal Sniper's cooldown is used to break armor. This will only work if you have no ignite on the target, as we do not want to detonate the poison cloud.
Dark Effigy is used as the catalyst for Font of Rage and the summoning of your ancestral minions. When preparing for a boss spawn, try to begin with the ancestral minion that grants the 5 rage on hit and 10 action speed buff.
Seismic Cry should be exactly level 11 (the lowest posisble) and must have Concentrated Effect so that it does not land on anything stunned. If it does not hit anything stunned or primed for stun, its cooldown will be reset. The corpse explosion trigger from the Warbringer ascendancy has its own radius, lowering the radius of Seismic Cry does not lower the radius of the explosions. Energy Barrier is also very important for Seismic, as it will very often allow you to recharge energy shield after being hit.
Enfeeble is optional, and only for bosses if needed. Temporal Chains is also an option if you prefer it instead.
Passive Tree
The Warcry passives can be taken last. Try to find a Jewel with Rage on hit, and another, rage when hit.
