How to Get
There are multiple ways to get Nails in Windrose.
The easiest and earliest available method is to harvest shipwrecks along the coast. These drop Wood and a few Nails
You can also craft Nails by heading to your Workbench. They can be made using either Copper or Iron.

Used to Craft
Nails are used to both craft and upgrade ship components in Windrose. You will start with crafting the item, then you can upgrade it with additional nails.
Used to Craft:
- Hull bracing
- Hull bracing: Iron resolve
- Hull bracing: Keelhold
- Hull bracing: Standfast
Each of these items requires 5x Nails.
Used to Upgrade:
- Hull bracing
- Hull bracing: Iron resolve
- Hull bracing: Keelhold
- Hull bracing: Standfast
Each of these upgrades require 3x Nails
