Factions are a core feature in Windrose, and there are 4 different unique factions with each one having its own base, quests and rewards. You can earn reputation with factions by finding reputation items as you play, as well as completing quests for the factions. Once you reach a certain Reputation level, the faction-specific Provisioners will sell you powerful items such as armor sets and ship upgrades for Piastre and Guineas.
There are 4 reputations in Windrose:
- Rogue Buccaneers
- People of Tortuga
- Smugglers of Port Royal
- Brethren of the Coast
How Reputation Works
You can earn reputation points with a faction by handing in Insignias, which are gained by defeating enemies and sinking enemy ships. Another way is through completing quests and getting Letters of Favour. With each new Reputation Level earmed you unlock different, more powerful items from the Provisioner.
