Intro

Trophies are imperative for maximising your stamina in Windrose. Trophies count as a decoration which improves your base's Comfort Level - this, in turn, boosts the duration of your rested buff, allowing you to recover stamina at a much faster rate outside of your base.

Normally only one type of decoration will contribute to your Comfort Level, with one exception - Trophies!

All trophies are linked to a challenge: killing a certain amount of a specific animal unlocks a recipe that allows you to craft the trophy from that animal's head.

Here's how you obtain each trophy in the game.

Boar Trophy

One of the first trophies at your disposal will be the Boar Trophy from the challenge "Buccaneer-In-Training".

This challenge will require you to kill 40 Boars. All variants contribute to the completion of this challenge, including Sows, Charging Boars, and Savage Boars, the latter of which has the highest chance of dropping a Boar Head.

Boars are found in your starting biome, but you may need to explore the surrounding islands on your boat to find enough of them to finish this challenge. They will respawn after a short time in game!

Once the challenge is complete you will unlock the recipe to build the Boar Trophy:

Item

Materials

Trophy Boar

5x Wood

1x Boar Head

Dodo Trophy

Another trophy available to you on the starter island is the Dodo Trophy from the challenge "Bird Hunt".

You'll need only 20 Dodos for this challenge, but only the Azure Dodos count - and they're also the only Dodos that drop the head needed to craft the trophy.

Dodos are all over the starting zone - mostly by the coast - and whereas they don't hit quite as hard as Boars, they have a multi attack that will quickly break through your guard.

Once the challenge is complete you will unlock the recipe to build the Dodo Trophy:

Materials

Trophy Dodo

5x Wood

1x Dodo Head

Crab Trophy

The final trophy from the Coastal Jungle biome comes from the humble crab. Crabs don't fight back and you can collect them just by interacting with them, but this is arguably the hardest trophy to collect in the game.

Each time you 'harvest' one of the small red crabs by the beach, you'll get some delicious Crab Meat and, on some very rare occasions, a Crab Shell.

These rare shells are needed to craft the Crab Trophy.

2x Crab Meat

Great Goat Trophy

Once you move on from the Coastal Jungle to the Foothills, you'll encounter different types of fauna - one of which is the understateed and bad-tempered Goat.

Like the Dodos, you'll need to kill 20 of these to complete the aptly named challenge "Goat Hunter". You'll need to find and defeat a Goat Leader for a chance at the Head of a Mountain Goat Leader, the item needed to craft this trophy

Trophy Great Goat

5x Hardwood

1x Head of a Mountain Goat Leader

4x Nails

Wolf Trophy

Alongside the Goat (quite literally, as they are sometimes found sparring one another) is the ferocious Wolf.

Like the Boar before it, you'll need to bring down 40 of these to finish the challenge "Predator Cull" - no easy feat for reasons beyond the sheer volume of kills.

The Wolf Head, the primary material needed for crafting the trophy after completing the achievement, is dropped by all Wolves but most frequently from the Alpha Wolf.

Crocodile Trophy

Beyond the Foothills and deep within the Cursed Swamps live the Crocodiles of the Caribbean. You'll find them lurking within the shallow waters.

Once you complete the challenge to kill all the Crocodiles, you'll be able to craft its trophy fairly simply.

Trophy Crocodile

5x Hardwood

1x Crocodile Head

4x Nails

Trophy Senkamati Blades

The last trophy available in Windrose comes from the quest, "Ritual Daggers of the High Priestess". While exploring the islands of the Caribbean you may encounter one of three Ritual Daggers which will prompt the start of the quest, urging you to find the others.

Once completed you will be able to put these daggers on display as a trophy.
