Level 101 Solo Ranger Build
Note: This build is definitely playable around level 90+, as all of the defensive nodes are irrelevant.
If you're struggling to survive and get through those higher tier stages, you're not alone. In fact, at higher difficulties, enemies will still melt through your capped out resistances. So what's the solution?
The easiest way to first complete Torment 3-9 is to build the Solo Ranger. This involves intentionally benching all your other heroes and placing the Ranger at the back.
Doing so allows the Ranger to burst down every enemy in sight, well before they can attack. If you were to include other party members, they would pull aggro and wipe your team.

Important Gear
In order to pull this off, you'll need to stack enough Physical Damage so that the Ranger can consistently clear waves without support from the Priest's Blessing of Might. Movement Speed is also important.
A Shadow Bow (Immortal) + Dimensional Arrow (Immortal) socketed with Physical Damage should do the trick. Using Amethysts and Spider Silk is sufficient enough, but feel free to use better materials.
As for Movement Speed, you can get by just fine using some Accessories slotted with Emeralds and Poisonous Herbs. It doesn't take much, but having more does help improve your clear times.

Level 101 Ranger Build (Frontline DPS w/ Sorcerer)
Once you acquire some better gear, the Ranger will become strong enough to carry your team from the frontlines. This allows you to run a full party and is a great way to power level your other heroes.
The Lightning Sorcerer plays a key role by deleting a huge chunk of each wave, allowing the Ranger to clean up the remainder. Check out our Sorcerer Guide for more details.
The level 65 Limitless Bow (Arcana) is actually much stronger than the Shadow Bow (Immortal) due to its inherent 89% Increased Attack Damage. If you can find one, or decide to buy one, invest as much Physical Damage into it as possible.

Lastly, it's very important to have as much Movement Speed as possible. Aim for around 4000+, while minimizing the Movement Speed of your other heroes (even if it means wearing no Boots).
Note: If you have the Knight Boots (Arcana), equip them to your Sorcerer to greatly speed up your waves!
