This week, Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, officially confirmed that GTA 6 will be released on November 19th 2026, and there will be no further delays.
For many years, GTA fans have been eagerly awaiting the next instalment of the series, and last year we were devastated to hear the news of another delay. GTA 6 has been delayed multiple times, with them reporting on November 6th 2025, that the game would be delayed for at least another year.
Stay tuned: in the coming weeks, there will be more news regarding the price, a new trailer should drop, and you can expect to see a lot more GTA content across the web.
GTA 6 is set in the state of Leonida, which is Rockstar's take on Florida. It has Miami vibes and is a modernised Vice City. Like previous GTAs, there will be regions of the map to explore, ranging from the urban city of Vice City and Leonida Keys to the Everglades and the Florida Keys.

The official release day is November 19th, 2026.
What platforms can you play GTA 6 on?
You can play GTA 6 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S from November 19th, with a PC release at a later, unknown date.
How much will GTA 6 cost?
The expected price of GTA 6 is at least $70, with collector's or special editions costing over $100. However, there is no official launch price yet.
