Overview

Levelling in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a core feature of the game. In this guide by Mister E, we'll show you just how to skip past the boring low levels and get straight into the late game.

This guide will get you max level in roughly 4 hours instead of the 8 it took before using the train mission (which is now nerfed).

Check out Mister E for more tips and guides in Darktide!

Talent Tree

Speeding up the process of levelling starts in the Talent Tree. You'll want to choose options that give you high dps so you can clear missions quickly.

As a Skitarii, once you hit level 5 you should be looking to get Chordclaw Strike - it makes killing enemies easier and more efficient.

Other options include going for Artificer Servo-Skull, Medica Servo-Skull and Pugator Servo-Skull, which can deal a lot of damage. These three options make it nearly impossible to go down when fighting the Karnak Twins, which is the boss you need to farm to speed level.

The Mission

The mission in question is mission 12 in the special assignment queue. Somebody in your group must have already completed this mission for your group to play it, and that person should’ve found and rung all 12 bells.

Mission 12

This mission gives you roughly 40/50% more XP than standard quick-play missions. You can also complete it in roughly 5 minutes, which is much quicker than many other missions, due to the bell-skip.

To do the skip, simply ring the bell at the start of the mission. You can find the bell in the tunnel below which will teleport you to the end of the fight, allowing you to immediately fight the Twins as normal.

How to Level Your Weapons

A quick way to max out a weapon’s mastery without doing it manually is by buying a bunch of duplicates of the same item in the grey tier from Brunt’s Armoury and then upgrading them to Green/Rare quality at the Shrine of the Omnissiah. You can then sacrifice them to Hadron and get a bunch of additional XP. By doing the same quality, you will get additional XP- so do all the same colours/weapons at once.

Remember to allocate all your blessing points after using this method.

Consecreate

While it does cost a lot in resources, it does save a lot of time, and you get a high level of mastery very quickly.
