Vance Travers Templar Hunt Walkthrough: Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced

To obtain the full set of Templar Keys needed to unlock the suit cage in your Manor in Assassin's Creed, you’ll need to complete 4 separate Templar Hunts in Resynced. Here’s a quick walkthrough on where to find and complete the hunt for Vance Travers.

Quest 1: Oh Brother

To start this hunt, meet up with Vance in Nassau. You can find the location marked on the map below.

Begin by tailing Upton’s men to the hideout. This is a pretty long section through Nassau, but they will eventually lead you to Upton’s brother.

When you arrive, simply try to incapacitate Upton. This will trigger the completion of this mission.

Once spotted, the thief will run off. Give chase to them and take them down however you want. The fastest method is to simply kill them via rope, darting them into a fight, or shooting them. Once you collect the quest item, you will complete the quest.

Quest 2: The Other Brother

For the next quest, begin by eavesdropping on Vance and Upton’s conversation by hiding in the bushes nearby.

Once done, kill Jing Lang’s men who will be positioned nearby. This can be done in any manner desired.

When the men have been killed, find the note left by Jin Lang at the nearby house and read it through.

Now head to the tavern near the centre of town and listen in on the conversation being had in order to proceed.

Finally, for this quest, head back to Upton and take out the enemies trying to kill him in order to complete the mission.

Quest 3: Upton’s Sorrow

At the start of this quest, defend Upton from the other bar patrons by defeating them in hand-to-hand combat.

Once done, escort Upton through Nassau until he is eventually stopped by a group of dancers. Simply pay them off with 100 Reales once prompted to proceed.

Continue with Upton through Nassau until he is eventually interrupted by a pack of guards. Simply defeat these guards and speak to Upton once more to complete the quest.

Quest 4: Queen Of Pirates, King Of Fools

At the start of this quest, use the trees in the Nassau swamp to easily navigate to where Vance is located.

When you get to Vance, assassinate him by any method. The easiest way to do this is to get above him and hang him with a rope dart.

After Vance is dead, you’ll then be tasked with chasing down and assassinating Jin Lang. You can do this again in any way you like. When she is dead, speak to Upton, and the quest will be completed.
