This is a quick trophy once you reach a Great White Shark harpooning location and understand how to perform that perfect throw, this guide will be telling you the best location to find the Great White Shark and how to indicate that the perfect shot has been thrown.
Sail towards the southern section of the map coordinates (314,47), where you can find a Great White Shark harpooning location.
If you have already unlocked a nearby fast travel point, use it to shorten the journey.
As you approach the area, the Harpoon option will appear, but know that you cannot begin harpooning in a storm, so either fast travel out and back into the area (if you have a nearby fast travel option) or wait out the storm, taking out any enemy ships to pass the time.
Once the storm has passed, return to the Great White Shark location and begin harpooning.
The key to getting a perfect harpoon shot is to hold the attack button rather than just quickly pressing it. Make sure you are holding R2/RT to charge the harpoon.
You will notice a small glint or shine effect will appear when the throw is fully charged and ready to become a perfect shot, simply release the trigger and hit the Great White Shark with the fully charged harpoon.
If performed correctly, the Perfect Predator trophy should unlock immediately, note, you do not have to defeat the Shark for the trophy to trigger, it should appear after the first perfect harpoon shot has landed.
