Heat Capacity
In Marathon, your heat is essentially an equivalent resource to "stamina" from other games.
Heat Capacity represents the number of actions, such as sliding or sprinting, you can do before overheating.

Although the time-to-kill in Marathon is quite fast, there will be fights that you survive and have the opportunity to reset before the action begins again.
