Top 5 Best ADCs to OTP in Season 26

The ADC role is one of the most popular roles in the game, and it's the easiest role to spot when somebody is playing a champion they are uncomfortable with. The reason is that their positioning is always off, the trade patterns are never efficient, and they don't know how to manage the waves correctly. To prevent yourself from falling behind or being a bad ADC, I recommend that you one-trick a strong ADC to climb in Season 26.

In today's article, we will go over 5 of the best one-trick pony champions you should main if you want to climb quickly and efficiently in Season 26. These recommendations are part of our larger series of guides for each role in the game. You can find more info about our recommendations in the video below.

1) Jinx

Jinx Splash

Jinx is a fan favourite champion in League of Legends, and Jinx is an excellent one-trick champion due to her hyper-carry potential and ability to take over games. She scales incredibly well and becomes one of the strongest late-game champions if she can get a lead. Her Passive is really strong and can help her snowball in fights.

During the laning phase, Jinx should focus on playing safely and focus on farming. Then, when she gets some items and levels under her belt, she can start playing a bit more aggressively. For Jinx players, they will have good positioning to ensure they do not get poked down or all-in’d by the enemy Support/ADC.

In the mid and late game, Jinx is very strong, especially in those team fights. She excels at dealing damage and cleaning up team fights when she gets a reset on her Passive. Jinx players know how to team fight effectively and position well to survive for as long as possible, but if you put in the practice and learn how to team fight, Jinx could be the champion for you!

2) Caitlyn

Cait Splash

Caitlyn is a strong one-trick champion due to her lane dominance and long-range pressure. She can consistently control lanes and build advantages through her range and traps. She can easily get lots of tower plates early, especially when she is paired with a poke Support or someone who can help her push.

During the laning phase, Caitlyn excels at poking and controlling the lane with her traps by placing them under the enemy tower. A good Cait player can create significant leads by earning gold, XP, and tower plates. Then, when she has killed the first turret, she can rotate around the map to get more gold and towers and open up the map.

Caitlyn is probably one of the most consistent ADCs to one-trick in LoL, as she can always dominate the lane and is strong no matter the meta! Also, compared to some of the other champions on our list, she is relatively easy and simple.

3) Samira

Samira

Samira is a high-risk, high-reward champion who is great for one-tricking due to her snowball potential and the fact that she can solo carry team fights if she can get her Ultimate off. Unlike some of the other champions on our list, she doesn’t have a simple kit; she has a unique mechanic that makes her challenging yet rewarding.

During the very early game, she needs some time to come online, but once she has got some levels under her belt, Samira can look for aggressive all-ins with her Support. She does struggle when she has a utility Support or a Support with no CC, but when paired with a CC heavy or all-in Support, she can take over the laning phase with ease.

During the mid and late game, Samira will want to look for team fights with her team where she can stack her Passive and unlock her Ultimate. She will want to play around the enemies' CC spells and then all-in and deal tons of AOE damage with her Ult. A good Samira will play patiently to avoid being blown up, and patience is often key to excelling when playing Samira.

4) Draven

Draven

The fourth champion on our list is a champion with a diehard fanbase. While he is extremely difficult to play due to his axe-catching mechanic and high-risk, high-reward nature, Draven is an excellent champion to one-trick if you have the mechanics and skill to play him.

During the laning phase, Draven should be played extremely aggressively to gain an early lead. He should win early trades as his Q gives him extra damage, allowing him to easily gain a health lead in lane. A good Draven can build a lead through good trades and never misspositioning or taking free damage.

In the mid and late game, Draven is still really strong with his Q, but he is harder to play during this stage of the game as teams will be grouping together, and he is susceptible to all-ins and CC. You need to position well, or else you will get caught out and die. However, a good one-trick Draven can survive the fights and knows when to walk forward and when to back off.

5) Jhin

jhin

I deliberately never put Jhin as the fourth champion on any of my lists, and that remains true for this one! Jhin is a unique ADC due to his reload/ammo mechanic, which makes him a little different and more challenging compared to traditional ADCs. However, unlike other ADCs, he does have a lot of utility and crowd control.

During the laning phase, Jhin should focus on controlling the minion wave and looking to go for trades around his 4th shot, as it helps him to win trades due to its increased damage. Jhin should look to poke with his 4th shot and Q>W or similar combo to gain a health advantage. Post 6, he struggles with those all-ins compared to other ADCs, as his Ultimate locks him in place.

Teamfighting as Jhin is actually quite easy as long as he doesn’t get caught out of position or caught out while moving around the map alone. You can start a team fight with your Ultimate, or use it to follow up when one of your members catches someone out of position. Jhin has a lot of control in team fights.
