How to Play
Soraka is a sustain-focused support who keeps her ADC topped up on health. During the laning phase, use Q to harass the enemies while maintaining enough distance to avoid getting hit by damage. Heal your ADC with W when necessary, but manage your own health and mana so you don’t get too low. You need to survive the laning phase and get as many wards as you can early on.
As
Soraka is a squishy and immobile champion, you need to rely on placing vision around the map and staying safe. Rush Sightstone and keep placing wards around the map. Stick with your ADC and peel for them as much as you can. Keep an eye on your teammates and be prepared to use your Ultimate to save them.
Runes Explained
The best Runes for
Soraka are 9x Armor Marks, 9x Armor Seals, 9x Magic Resist Glyphs, and 3x Quintessences of Gold.
Soraka should take 2 sets of Armor to protect herself from incoming auto-attacks so she isn’t forced to recall early.
The Magic Resist Glyphs are standard on many Supports to protect them from AP damage. Opting for Gold Quintessences is a good option to increase your gold income and help you get your core items quickly.
Masteries Explained
For
Soraka Masteries, we will allocate 21 points to the Utility tree and 9 to the Defensive tree. As
Soraka is a Support who will be providing healing for her allies, taking the Utility tree is a must because it makes her healing and sustain stronger. We will also take 9 points in the Defensive tree to give us extra protection.
