How to Play
Shyvana is a farming jungler who gets stronger with levels and items. Focus on full clearing early, then look for opportunities to invade when your laners can move first and back you up. Her fast clear can give you time to place a deep ward and steal a camp or two. Before level 6, prioritise overextended enemies or lanes with allied crowd control, as
Shyvana has no reliable way to lock targets down herself. Once you unlock your ultimate, look for an angle that carries enemies towards your team. Frozen Mallet makes it easier to stick to targets with your basic attacks. In teamfights, stay close enough to keep dealing damage, but avoid diving beyond your teammates’ reach.
Runes Explained
Attack Speed Marks help
Shyvana use her attack based ability interactions more frequently. Armour seals protect her against jungle monsters and AD units, while Attack Damage Quintessences improve her early jungle clear and ganks. You don't really need flat Magic Resist while jungling, so taking Scaling Magic Resist Glyphs provides protection as the game goes on.
Masteries Explained
Prioritise Defense to help
Shyvana survive while staying in melee range. Tough Skin and Bladed Armour support her early clears, while the other defensive points help withstand enemy damage and crowd control. The nine points in Offensive improve her jungle clearing and ganking, especially in the early game. These Masteries pair really well with your item setup, making you deal damage while still being a tanky member for your team.
