How to Play

Quinn in League of Legends needs time to come online. She has low range, so you need to be Passive and be prepared to sacrifice CS for XP early if you’re going to be in range or overextended in lane so the enemy can all-in you. You can, however, abuse your range advantage when the enemy walks up to last-hit minions (when possible). You come online at level 7 when you fully max out your Q. 

Outside the laning phase, avoid getting caught out of position, as Quinn is very easy to kill and vulnerable. Look to apply pressure around the map with your team when you can, or split push when you have vision and know where the enemy is. Quinn needs multiple items to be truly dominant, and unless you get these before your opponents, you will struggle.

Runes Explained

Quinn should take standard AD Runes. Take 9x Attack Damage marks, as the extra AD will increase the damage of her basic attacks and abilities. This is especially useful early, as it helps Quinn to trade more effectively with enemy champions while also making it easier to last-hit minions. While you will be facing mostly face AD champions in your lane, you'll will face AP champions at times. Take Armor Seals and Magic Resistance Glyphs to give you some defensive stats against both types of damage.

For Quints, take Attack Damage as the additional AD will increase Quinn's early-game damage and make her basic attacks and abilities more effective.

Masteries Explained

Quinn is essentially an ADC champion, just not always played in the bottom lane. She will take 21 points in the Offense tree, as this increases her damage output and makes her basic attacks and abilities really hurt the enemy. As she will be playing vs mostly melee champions, it makes her auto-attacks hurt even more and makes it easier to get kills and dominate the lane.

Like most champions in the game, she will be taking 9 points in the Defense tree to give her some extra protection when she happens to be laning in a bad matchup. While she can dominate lane, she is quite squishy, so getting extra defensive stats is quite important.
