How to Play

Graves is a fan-favourite ADC in League of Legends Classic, and we are so excited to see him finally make it into the game. To play Graves ADC, focus on short, bursty trades early, then switch to longer trades later in the laning phase with your E, Q, and auto-attacks. After 6, you’re strong and can execute low-health enemies with your Ultimate.

Outside of the laning phase, limit using your E, as it is your main mobility tool and you’re quite vulnerable while it is on cooldown. Make sure you stick with your team and rotate around the map with your Support/other champions so you don't get caught out and killed. Graves is really strong during the mid-game when he gets multiple items, so look to abuse this!

Runes Explained

The best Runes for Graves ADC are 9x Marks of Attack Damage, 9x Seals of Armor, 9x Glyphs of Magic Resist, and then you can either pick 3x Life Steal Quints or AD Quints. Personally, I think Life Steal is better, as it increases your sustain throughout the game and helps while trading. However, AD Quints are just as good, as they will help with last-hitting, poking, and killing enemies. You can choose either one and be fine on Graves.

As standard, we recommend taking Armor and MR to protect you from AD and AP champions.

Masteries Explained

For Graves Masteries, you will be taking the standard 21-9-0, which focuses heavily on AD Masteries to increase his damage output throughout all stages of the game. We pick all the standard options to increase his kill pressure throughout the laning phase and make picking up kills and last-hitting minions easier.

The 9 points in the Defence Tree are going to increase his survivability, as they will make him slightly tankier and harder to kill, which is going to keep him alive for longer throughout the game.
