How to Play

When playing Brand Support, you need to focus on playing relatively aggressively while remaining as safe as possible. You need to constantly bully the enemy with your E and W to get them low, while staying out of range and behind minions so they do not bully you in return. While trading, keep a constant eye on your mana bar as Brand can be very mana hungry and you will run out of mana quickly.

During the mid- and late-game, stick with your team and look for team fights with your Ultimate. Your Ultimate is very good when your team is grouped, as your Ult can bounce. But before looking to fight, try to poke the enemy down with your W to get them low before committing your Ultimate.

Runes Explained

The best Runes for Brand are standard AP/Mid Laner Runes. We will take AP Pen Marks as this will make Brand's abilities hurt more in team fights, and they’re good versus tank champions. Armor Seals are a standard on most AP champions as they help protect you from AD champs. MR Glyphs are taken on Brand to protect him from AP damage and poke.

AP Quints are the best for Brand Support as it increases his damage output and make his abilities hurt more throughout the game.

Masteries Explained

We recommend going 21 points in the Offense Tree, as Brand is going to be building AP items, and he is a damage dealer. Going full Offense helps our abilities, especially his W and Ultimate, which really hurt in fights. One good Ultimate will make Brand's abilities really hurt.

Then you should take 9 points in the Utility Tree. We are opting for additional mana regen, as Brand uses his abilities frequently and the extra mana is very important, preventing us from running out while trading.
