Elise is really strong and can deal a surprising amount of damage if she utilises all her abilities. Just land your E and then all-in.
She can act as a secondary Jungler to some extent as she can roam around the map and make plays with her E.
In the mid and late game, when she has some items and damage, she can basically one-shot champions in the late game.
Unlike many mages in the support role, she cannot spam her abilities. This means you cannot really poke with either your Q or W, and you’ll have to commit to all-ins instead.
You are not going to be as strong as many other Supports (or ADCs) at level 6 because you unlock your Ultimate
R at level 1. Depending on the matchup, you might lose the level 6.
Elise’s gameplay is quite scripted, and she needs to land her E to deal a lot of damage. With good positioning by the enemy in the lane, it can be really hard for Elise to land those picks.
0 - 15 min
Abuse the enemy with basic attacks at levels 1, 2 and 3. Look for an E at levels 2 or 3.
Outside of all-ins, it's recommended not to poke the enemy too often as Elise’s abilities cost a ton of mana. Focus on those all-ins rather than poke with her Q or W.
Keep the minion wave even or slightly closer in the early game. This will allow you to make aggressive plays and all-in the enemy.
15 - 25 min
Elise is a great roamer, make sure you look to make plays and help your Mid and Jungler out. If you go in Spider Form, you can move around the map even quicker.
In the mid-game, you’ll have a few items already completed, and you can deal a lot of damage quickly. Try and make plays by hiding in bushes and ambushing the enemy ADC/ Support or Mid when they walk around the map.
If you’re behind or not able to deal a lot of damage quickly, then stick with your team and peel for them.
25+ min
Stick with your team in the late game. Do not leave their side- not even to ward. Ward with your teammates.
Your goal in the late game is to just deal damage to whoever you can. Peel and protect for your teammates so they can dish out damage as well.
Continue to look for picks with your E and try to CC anyone. Just blowing someone up is sometimes enough to win the fight or secure an objective.
Your first power spikes are at levels 3 and 4. You’ll have access to all your abilities and 2 points in Q, so you can deal a lot of damage.
Elise isn’t as strong compared to many other champions at level 6, as she has access to her Ultimate
R at level 1.
When you’ve got your first component item, your Q will deal quite a lot of damage and will help with those early all-ins and skirmishes.
At level 9, you will make out your first ability. Your poke will increase, and your trades will be far more favourable.
Elise will have completed multiple items at this stage of the game. Her burst and kill potential increases dramatically.
Unfortunately, Elise will not spike at level 11 when she puts another point in her Ultimate
R. It will be useful, but not as good compared to many other champions.
Just like the mid-game, she will not spike at level 16.
Although at this stage of the game she would’ve completed a lot of items and can deal quite a lot of damage to squishy opponents.
In the late game, you’ll need to invest in magic pen items to help you deal with the tanks. You’ll heavily fall off if you do not do this.
