He has a unique mechanic that makes him incredibly hard to master. Playing around his Q is crucial for a good Draven, and it does take some time to get used to.
If you die when you have lots of stacks, you’ll miss out on a lot of free gold. Expect the enemy to overwhelm you in the bottom lane to try to shut you down. Make sure you keep the lane warded at all times to reduce the chances of this happening.
Team fighting can be difficult for Draven as he needs to pick up his Axe’s Q in the fights. If he drops them, he will miss out on damage. Dodging damage, kiting and picking up Axe’s Q can be quite challenging.

Draven’s early game is solid. He can out trade most bottom lane champions due to his Q. You must look for fights in the early game to cash out from your Passive.
Draven’s level 6 power spike is powerful. His Ultimate R can be used during skirmishes, unlike some ADC’s such as Caitlyn. Commit to all-ins if you have a slight lead so you can, again, cash out from your Passive.

When Draven maxes his Q at level 9, his damage output will be incredibly high when trading with the enemy. It will also be on a shorter cooldown which is helpful if you’ve recently dropped an Axe Q.
Depending on how far or behind Draven is, he may be very strong in the mid-game or incredibly weak. It is vital that he doesn’t overextend or get killed at the start of the fight to ensure he can dish out as much damage as possible.
