Annie Matchups Overview

Annie General information

Annie tips and tricks

Look for constant picks with Tibbers Summon: TibbersR once you’re level 6. Annie’s all-in against squishy champions is incredibly strong.

Look for trades around your stun. Pre-level 6, use the stun on your DisintegrateQ rather than IncinerateW as you’re guaranteed to land the stun if you use your DisintegrateQ.

Annie is really good at starting team fights if she can flank the enemy. Running at them is going to be difficult, but you could set up death bushes and wait for the enemy to walk by before throwing out Tibbers Summon: TibbersR.

Most Popular

If you want to use the most popular Annie Support build, you should take Flash and Ignite as your Summoner Spells. For runes, you should pick Electrocute as your keystone, followed by Cheap Shot, Eyeball Collection and Relentless Hunter in the primary tree, as well as Absolute Focus and Manaflow Band in the secondary tree. For rune shards, you want Adaptive Force in offense, Adaptive Force in flex and Health Scaling in defense, though it depends on the matchup. Finally, for your items, you should build Zaz'Zak's Realmspike as your first item, followed by Sorcerer's Shoes and Malignance. For your last 3 items, you should build Stormsurge, Rylai's Crystal Scepter and finish with Shadowflame. For the skill order, you want to stick with Q - W - E. Right now, this build has 48.1% winrate over 801 matches played.

Optional

Your second option for Annie Support build would be to take Flash and Ignite as your Summoner Spells. The runes that this build takes advantage of are Summon Aery as your keystone, Manaflow Band, Transcendence and Scorch in the primary tree, and Biscuit Delivery with Cosmic Insight in the secondary tree.
